วิสัยทัศน์
เป็นกลไกหลักของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในการขับเคลื่อนการบริหารจัดการน้ำ สิ่งแวดล้อม และการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความยั่งยืนและความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ
พันธกิจ
- เป็นตัวแทนภาคอุตสาหกรรม รวบรวมและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากผู้ประกอบการ เพื่อจัดทำข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบาย กฎหมาย และมาตรการที่สมดุลและนำไปปฏิบัติได้จริง
- ขับเคลื่อนความมั่นคงด้านน้ำ
- สนับสนุนการลดมลพิษ การจัดการกากอุตสาหกรรมอย่างถูกต้อง และการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างคุ้มค่า ตามแนวทาง Circular Economy และ End-of-Waste
- สนับสนุนการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่เศรษฐกิจคาร์บอนต่ำ
- พัฒนามาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อความยั่งยืน พัฒนาระบบรับรองและบริการทางวิชาการ เช่น Eco Factory และ Water Footprint ให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทอุตสาหกรรมและสอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานสากล
- เชื่อมโยงเทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม และแหล่งทุน เชื่อมโจทย์อุตสาหกรรมกับงานวิจัย เทคโนโลยี ผู้ให้บริการ และกลไกทางการเงิน เพื่อสนับสนุนโครงการนำร่องและการขยายผล
- พัฒนาศักยภาพและให้บริการภาคอุตสาหกรรม ให้บริการข้อมูล คำปรึกษา ฝึกอบรม ประเมิน ทวนสอบ และรับรอง เพื่อช่วยผู้ประกอบการและห่วงโซ่อุปทานปรับตัวได้อย่างเหมาะสม
- สร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือ เชื่อมโยงภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน ภาควิชาการ สถาบันการเงิน และองค์กรระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อร่วมพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมอย่างยั่งยืน
หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบของหน่วยงาน
สถาบันน้ำ สิ่งแวดล้อม และ Climate Change (WECCI) ภายใต้สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ทำหน้าที่เป็นกลไกกลางเชื่อมโยงภาครัฐ ภาคอุตสาหกรรม และชุมชน ด้านการบริหารจัดการน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อม
เรามุ่งยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย ควบคู่กับการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม และการรับมือการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

Vision
To serve as the main mechanism of the Thai industrial sector in driving water management, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation, aimed at enhancing sustainability and competitiveness of the country.
Mission
- Act as a representative of the industrial sector by collecting and analyzing data from entrepreneurs to create policy proposals, laws, and balanced, actionable measures.
- Drive water security
- Support pollution reduction, proper management of industrial waste, and efficient resource utilization, in line with Circular Economy and End-of-Waste principles.
- Support the transition to a low-carbon economy
- Develop industry standards for sustainability by establishing certification systems and academic services, such as Eco Factory and Water Footprint, suitable for the industrial context and aligned with international standards.
- Connect technology, innovation, and funding sources to link industry challenges with research, technology providers, and financial mechanisms, thereby supporting pilot projects and scaling efforts.
- Develop capacity and provide services to the industrial sector by offering information, consulting, training, assessment, verification, and certification to assist entrepreneurs and the supply chain in adapting appropriately.
- Create collaborative networks by linking the public sector, private sector, academia, financial institutions, and international organizations to jointly develop knowledge and drive sustainable industrial development.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Agency
The Water, Environment, and Climate Change Institute (WECCI) under the Federation of Thai Industries acts as a central mechanism connecting the government, the industrial sector, and communities in water and environmental management. We aim to elevate the competitive capability of the Thai industrial sector while conserving the environment and concretely addressing climate change impacts.
