Applicants may apply for membership under the designated types, which are divided by qualification into 2 categories as follows:

1) Ordinary–Factory (Sor Nor): a juristic person established under Thai law engaged in industrial operations
2) Ordinary–Trade Association (Sor Chor): a trade association established under the law governing trade associations, with the objective of promoting industrial operations

1) Associate–Juristic Person (Tor Nor): a juristic person established under Thai law
2) Associate–Individual (Tor Bor): an individual engaged in industrial operations but not registered as a juristic person

1) Being of legal age (for individuals)
2) Not being a person of unsound mind, an incompetent person, or a quasi-incompetent person (for individuals)
3) Not being bankrupt
4) Never having been removed from membership, unless two years have passed from the date of removal

Under the F.T.I. Act, Section 22 on members and membership, membership terminates upon:

1) Resignation
2) Death, or dissolution of juristic person status (defunct, dissolved, liquidated, bankrupt, or under receivership)
3) Lacking the membership qualifications of the designated membership type
4) Being in arrears of annual membership fees for two consecutive years, with the Board resolving to remove the member from membership

1) Your membership expires on 31 December of every year. The F.T.I. will send a letter reminding you to renew your membership. After paying the annual membership fee, if you need a membership certificate, you may request one by email or telephone. Issuance takes no more than 2 business days, free of charge.
2) If you do not renew your membership and no resignation letter has been submitted, the F.T.I. will consider you still a member, and unpaid membership fees will continue to accumulate.
3) If a member is in arrears of membership fees for 2 consecutive years, the F.T.I. Board will resolve to remove the member from membership, and the member must wait 2 years from the date of removal before reapplying (meaning re-application is not possible within 2 years).
Resignation from membership must be submitted in writing.
4) To change your representative, please submit a signed letter bearing the company seal.
