พันธกิจ
ขับเคลื่อนงานด้านการคุ้มครองอุตสาหกรรมไทย ผ่าน 3 งานหลัก คือ งาน Made in Thailand / งานมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรม / งานมาตรการทางการค้า
หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบของหน่วยงาน
- งาน Made in Thailand สร้างความร่วมมือและความเข้าใจกับกรมบัญชีกลางเพื่อขับเคลื่อน MiT ให้เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน พร้อมมุ่งเพิ่มมูลค่าการจัดซื้อสินค้า MiT ในอุตสาหกรรมนำร่อง ตลอดจนผลักดันสิทธิประโยชน์เพิ่มเติมให้แก่ผู้ประกอบการที่ได้รับใบรับรอง MiT นอกเหนือจากการจัดซื้อจัดจ้างภาครัฐ เช่น การส่งเสริมและขยายโอกาสการซื้อขายสินค้า MiT ระหว่างภาคเอกชน
- งานมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรม สร้างความร่วมมือกับ สมอ. ในการขับเคลื่อนงานมาตรฐานและผลักดันการเชื่อมโยงงานด้านมาตรฐานของหน่วยงานภายในประเทศให้เป็นไปในทิศทางเดียวกัน พร้อมขับเคลื่อน Platform “TISI Shield” สำหรับแจ้งผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ไม่เป็นไปตามมาตรฐาน ตลอดจนผลักดันข้อเสนอด้านมาตรฐานจากกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมในทุกมิติ และสนับสนุนให้กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมใช้ประโยชน์จากกลไก SDOs (Standards Developing Organizations) อย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพ
- งานมาตรการทางการค้า ขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือเชิงรุกกับภาครัฐเพื่อเชื่อมโยงและบูรณาการข้อมูลการค้าแบบ Real-time สำหรับใช้นำมาพัฒนาระบบเฝ้าระวังและเตือนภัยล่วงหน้าด้านมาตรการเยียวยาทางการค้า (Trade Remedy Early Warning System) พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้สมาชิกสามารถใช้ประโยชน์จากกลไกมาตรการทางการค้าอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ผ่านการให้ความรู้ การจัด Coaching และการมีผู้เชี่ยวชาญช่วยจัดทำเอกสารเพื่อยื่นขอใช้มาตรการปกป้องทางการค้า

Mission
To drive the protection of Thai industries through three main areas: Made in Thailand / Industrial Standards / Trade Measures
Roles and Responsibilities of the Organization
- Made in Thailand: Foster collaboration and understanding with the Comptroller General's Department to drive MiT in a unified direction, focusing on increasing the value of MiT procurement in pilot industries, as well as promoting additional benefits for operators who hold MiT certification beyond public procurement, such as encouraging and expanding opportunities for the private sector to trade MiT products.
- Industrial Standards: Foster cooperation with the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) to drive standards work and push for alignment of standards work among national agencies in a unified direction, while promoting the “TISI Shield” platform for reporting non-compliant products, as well as advocating for standard proposals from industry groups in all dimensions and supporting industry groups to fully utilize the mechanisms of Standards Developing Organizations (SDOs).
- Trade Measures: Drive proactive collaboration with the government to link and integrate real-time trade data for the development of a Trade Remedy Early Warning System, while promoting and supporting members to effectively utilize trade measures through education, coaching, and having experts assist in preparing documentation to apply for trade protection measures.
