The TISI in June 2026 stands at 88.2, an increase from 84.7 in May 2026. Meanwhile, the 3-month forward expectation index is at 94.5, rising from 91.8 in May 2026. However, the index remains below the neutral level of 100, indicating that business operators' confidence has yet to recover.

This month, there are positive factors including 1) the "Thai Helps Thai Plus" measure that alleviates the cost of living burden for citizens, 2) mid-year promotional activities by entrepreneurs, and the Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2026 project, 3) reaching a temporary ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, helping to ease tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, and 4) the Thailand_Fast_Pass project to accelerate investment.

However, there are also negative factors including 1) the increase in controlled items to 66 items, such as seasoning sauces and coconut products, 2) trade barriers from partner countries such as Malaysia, Mexico, and Vietnam, 3) production in certain product groups still facing pressures, reflected in a slowdown in the capacity utilization rate (Capu), and 4) the pickup truck market continues to face pressure from purchasing power and tight credit issuance.
