ดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นฯ ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2569 อยู่ที่ระดับ 84.7 ปรับตัวลดลงจาก 85.3 ในเดือนเมษายน 2569 ขณะที่ดัชนีคาดการณ์ 3 เดือนข้างหน้าอยู่ที่ระดับ 91.8 ปรับตัวลดลง จาก 92.8 ในเดือนเมษายน 2569
เมื่อพิจารณาองค์ประกอบของดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นภาคอุตสาหกรรม ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2569 พบว่า องค์ประกอบส่วนใหญ่ลดลง ยกเว้นยอดคำสั่งซื้อจากต่างประเทศ ยอดขายจากต่างประเทศและต้นทุนประกอบการ (ผกผัน) ที่ปรับตัวเพิ่มขึ้น ขณะที่ดัชนีคาดการณ์ 3 เดือนข้างหน้า องค์ประกอบทั้งหมดปรับตัวลดลง
ในเดือนนี้มีปัจจัยลบจาก 1) การผลิตยังมีแนวโน้มชะลอตัว 2) การนำเข้าสินค้าต่างประเทศมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขี้น 3) อัตราเงินเฟ้อมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้น 4) ปัญหาการขาดแคลนแรงงาน
อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมีปัจจัยบวกจาก 1) ความต้องการสินค้าอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ขยายตัว 2) การลงทุนในกลุ่มอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และ Data Center ขยายตัวต่อเนื่อง 3) ครม. มีมติอนุมัติมาตรการผ่อนผันเกณฑ์คำนวณเงินชดเชยค่างานก่อสร้าง (ค่า K) ชั่วคราว 4) มาตรการขยายเวลาผ่อนคลายเกณฑ์ LTV สำหรับสินเชื่อเพื่อที่อยู่อาศัย
