เมื่อวันที่ 3 พฤศจิกายน 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย นายถาวร ชลัษเฐียร รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสถาบันเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถมนุษย์ FTI Academy รวมถึงคณะกรรมการสถาบันฯ ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารสภาวิศวกร นำโดย นายกิตติพงษ์ วีระโพธิ์ประสิทธิ์ นายกสภาวิศวกร พร้อมด้วย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ขวัญชัย ลีเผ่าพันธุ์ อุปนายกสภาวิศวกร คนที่ 1 รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุธา ขาวเธียร เลขาธิการสภาวิศวกร นายอาทร สินสวัสดิ์ กรรมการสภาวิศวกรและประธานอนุกรรมการกิจการพิเศษ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์พิศิษฐ์ แสง-ชูโต ที่ปรึกษาคณะอนุกรรมการกิจการพิเศษ และคณะผู้บริหารสภาวิศวกร ณ ส.อ.ท.
ในโอกาสนี้ คณะผู้บริหารสภาวิศวกรได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะและแสดงความยินดีแก่ นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธาน ส.อ.ท. พร้อมหารือแนวทางการพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านวิศวกรรมให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของภาคอุตสาหกรรม โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการปรับปรุงหลักสูตรและการเพิ่มโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ผ่านการปฏิบัติงานจริง เพื่อให้ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษามีทักษะตรงตามความต้องการของสถานประกอบการและมีความพร้อมในการเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงาน
นอกจากนี้ ส.อ.ท. และสภาวิศวกรยังได้หารือแนวทางส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานร่วมกันในด้านอื่น ๆ ที่สอดคล้องกับภารกิจของทั้งสององค์กร โดยมุ่งนำความเชี่ยวชาญด้านวิชาชีพวิศวกรรมและประสบการณ์จากภาคอุตสาหกรรมมาบูรณาการการทำงานร่วมกัน เพื่อยกระดับวิชาชีพวิศวกรรมและเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทย

On November 3, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairman of The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Thavorn Chalassathien, Vice Chairman of FTI and Chairman, Human Capacity Building Institute FTI Academy, as well as the committee members of the institute, welcomed the executive committee of the Engineering Council, led by Mr. Kittipong Weerapoteprasert, President of the Engineering Council, along with Associate Professor Dr. Kwanchai Leephaend, First Vice President of the Engineering Council, Associate Professor Dr. Sutha Khawthee, Secretary General of the Engineering Council, Mr. Athorn Sinsawat, Council Member of the Engineering Council and Chairman of the Special Affairs Subcommittee, Assistant Professor Pisit Saengchuto, Advisor to the Special Affairs Subcommittee, and the executive committee of the Engineering Council at FTI.
On this occasion, the executive committee of the Engineering Council paid a courtesy visit and conveyed congratulations to Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul on her assumption of the position of Chairman of FTI, and discussed methods to develop engineering personnel that align with the needs of the industrial sector. Both parties exchanged views on improving curricula and increasing opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience, so that graduates possess skills that meet the requirements of employers and are prepared to enter the labor market.
Moreover, FTI and the Engineering Council also discussed strategies to promote and support joint operations in other areas that align with the missions of both organizations, aiming to integrate the expertise of engineering professionals and experience from the industrial sector to enhance the engineering profession and strengthen the competitiveness of the Thai industry.
