วันที่ 19 สิงหาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร ได้แก่ นางกนิษฐ์ เมืองกระจ่าง รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสายงานมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรมและศักยภาพในการแข่งขัน นายกิตติ สุขุตมตันติ รองประธานสายงานมาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรมและศักยภาพในการแข่งขัน และประธานคณะกรรมการมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม นายวชิระชัย คูนำวัฒนา รองประธานสายงานเศรษฐกิจและวิชาการ และกรรมการ ส.อ.ท. รวมถึง นายสรศักดิ์ กีรติโชคชัยกุล กรรมการ ส.อ.ท. ได้เข้าพบ ดร.สุเมธ ตันติเวชกุล กรรมการและที่ปรึกษาพิเศษอาวุโส มูลนิธิชัยพัฒนา เพื่อรับฟังแนวคิด ทิศทาง และข้อเสนอแนะในการนำหลักปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงมาประยุกต์ใช้ในการบริหารจัดการองค์กรธุรกิจอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ผ่านการร่วมขับเคลื่อนมาตรฐาน มอก. 9999 ให้เกิดผลสัมฤทธิ์ในวงกว้าง ณ สำนักงานมูลนิธิชัยพัฒนา
สำหรับการขับเคลื่อนมาตรฐาน มอก. 9999 นั้น ส.อ.ท. มีแนวทางร่วมกับสำนักงานมาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรมเพื่อจัดทำมาตรฐานเล่มที่ 2 ในรูปแบบ "คู่มือภาคปฏิบัติ" ที่เน้นการนำเนื้อหามาขยายความพร้อมยกตัวอย่างการปฏิบัติจริงให้เห็นภาพชัดเจน พร้อมปรับรูปแบบเนื้อหาให้เข้าถึงง่ายและเป็นมิตรต่อผู้ใช้งานในลักษณะองค์ความรู้ที่เข้าใจง่ายสำหรับทุกคน นอกจากนี้ ยังมุ่งขยายผลการใช้งานไปยังภาคอุตสาหกรรมทุกภาคส่วน ตลอดจนตั้งเป้าหมายผลักดันให้ 99 องค์กรใหม่ ได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐาน เพื่อเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีในการสร้างความมั่นคงและยั่งยืนทางธุรกิจ
ทั้งนี้ คณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. ได้กราบเรียนเชิญ ดร.สุเมธ ตันติเวชกุล ให้เกียรติเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ "การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมตามแนวทางพระราชดำริและหลักปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง" ในการประชุมคณะกรรมการ ส.อ.ท. (กส.) ในวันจันทร์ที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2569 เพื่อร่วมจุดประกายความคิดและถ่ายทอดแนวทางการพัฒนาที่สมดุลแก่ผู้นำภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยต่อไป
On August 19, 2026, Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), together with the executive team including Ms. Kanit Muangkrang, Vice President of FTI and Chair of the Industrial Standards and Competitiveness Committee, Mr. Kitti Sukrutmantani, Vice President of the Industrial Standards and Competitiveness Committee and Chair of the Industrial Product Standards Committee, Mr. Wachirachai Khunamwattana, Vice President of Economics and Academics and FTI Board Member, along with Mr. Sorakrit Keerathochakijkul, FTI Board Member, met with Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Senior Executive Committee Member and Special Advisor of the Chaipattana Foundation, to hear his ideas, directions, and suggestions on applying the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy in business management practically through the collaborative promotion of the TIS 9999 standard for broad results at the Chaipattana Foundation office.
For the implementation of the TIS 9999 standard, FTI has a joint approach with the Office of Industrial Standards to create Standard Volume 2 in the form of a "Practical Handbook" that emphasizes elaborating on content with real-world examples for clear visualization, also modifying the format to make it more accessible and user-friendly in a way that is easy to understand for everyone. Additionally, it aims to expand the application to all sectors of the industry while setting a target to push for 99 new organizations to be certified, serving as a good model in creating business stability and sustainability.
Moreover, the FTI executive team has respectfully invited Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul to honorably serve as a guest speaker for a special lecture titled "Industrial Development Along the Royal Initiatives and the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy" during the FTI Board Committee (GSC) meeting on Monday, August 31, 2026, to jointly inspire ideas and convey balanced development directions to Thai industrial leaders.
