เมื่อวันที่ 12 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยรองประธาน ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองเพื่อแสดงความยินดีกับนายมาซาโตะ โอตากะ (H.E. Mr. Masato OTAKA) เอกอัครราชทูตญี่ปุ่นประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาสวันคล้ายวันพระราชสมภพของสมเด็จพระจักรพรรดิแห่งญี่ปุ่น (วันชาติญี่ปุ่น) ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์
ประเทศไทยและญี่ปุ่นจะครบรอบ 140 ปีแห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตในปี 2570 ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา ทั้งสองประเทศมีความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นในทุกมิติ โดยเฉพาะด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า การลงทุน และความร่วมมือภาคอุตสาหกรรม ซึ่งญี่ปุ่นถือเป็นหนึ่งในหุ้นส่วนทางเศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญของไทย ทั้งสองฝ่ายพร้อมสานต่อความร่วมมือและร่วมกันกำหนดทิศทางความเป็นหุ้นส่วนเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ให้ก้าวไกลยิ่งขึ้น โดยมุ่งส่งเสริมการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมาย เทคโนโลยีขั้นสูง ห่วงโซ่อุปทาน และการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอย่างยั่งยืน
On February 12, 2026, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI Vice Presidents, attended a reception to congratulate H.E. Mr. Masato OTAKA, the Ambassador of Japan to Thailand, on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan (Japan’s National Day) at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Thailand and Japan will celebrate the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2027. Over the years, both countries have maintained strong ties across all dimensions, particularly in the areas of economy, trade, investment, and industrial cooperation, with Japan being one of Thailand's key economic partners. Both parties are ready to continue their collaboration and jointly define the direction of the strategic partnership to advance further, aiming to promote investment in target industries, advanced technology, supply chain, and sustainable industrial development.
