เมื่อวันที่ 7 พฤศจิกายน 2568 นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) มอบกระเช้าดอกไม้แสดงความยินดีกับ H.E. Mr. Elchin Bashirov เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐอาเซอร์ไบจานประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาส วันแห่งชัยชนะและวันธงชาติของสาธารณรัฐอาเซอร์ไบจาน ณ โรงแรมแชงกรี-ลา กรุงเทพฯ
ทั้งนี้ ประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐอาเซอร์ไบจาน ได้สถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตอย่างเป็นทางการตั้งแต่ปี 2535 ตลอดช่วงที่ผ่านมา ความร่วมมือของทั้งสองประเทศได้ขยายตัวทั้งในด้านการเมือง เศรษฐกิจ การค้า การลงทุน การศึกษา และวัฒนธรรม โดยในปีที่ผ่านมา ไทยและอาเซอร์ไบจานมีมูลค่าการค้ารวมอยู่ที่ 295.64 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ไทยส่งออกสินค้าไปยังอาเซอร์ไบจาน เช่น ชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ อาหารแปรรูป ยางพารา และผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม ขณะเดียวกัน ได้นำเข้าน้ำมันดิบจากอาเซอร์ไบจาน ซึ่งถือเป็นแหล่งพลังงานสำคัญในภูมิภาคเอเชียกลาง
นอกจากนี้ ทั้งสองประเทศยังส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการท่องเที่ยวและบริการ พลังงานสะอาด และเทคโนโลยีสีเขียว เพื่อสอดคล้องกับแนวทางการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน
การเข้าร่วมงานในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนถึงมิตรภาพอันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างไทยและอาเซอร์ไบจาน รวมถึงความตั้งใจของสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทยในการผลักดันความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคธุรกิจของทั้งสองประเทศให้เติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน
On November 7, 2025, Mr. Chatchai Panichchiva, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), presented a flower bouquet to H.E. Mr. Elchin Bashirov, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Thailand, to commemorate Azerbaijan's Victory Day and National Flag Day at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.
Thailand and the Republic of Azerbaijan have officially established diplomatic relations since 1992. Over the years, cooperation between the two countries has expanded in various sectors including politics, economy, trade, investment, education, and culture. In the past year, the total trade value between Thailand and Azerbaijan was recorded at 295.64 million US dollars. Thailand exported goods to Azerbaijan such as automotive parts, processed food, rubber, and industrial products, while importing crude oil from Azerbaijan, which is a crucial energy source in the Central Asian region.
Moreover, the two countries continue to promote cooperation in tourism and service sectors, clean energy, and green technology to align with sustainable development goals.
This participation reflects the strong friendship between Thailand and Azerbaijan, as well as the FTI's intention to foster sustainable growth in business collaboration between the two nations.
