On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led by Mr. Apichit Prasoprat, Vice Chairman of FTI, together with Dr. Wiwat Kromdit, Dr. Jiraporn Wiriya-pongsa-kul, Dr. Nawarat Songsawasdi-chai, Mr. Thaworn Kanokwalivong, Mr. Pramote Tanwat, Ms. Kittiya Rerkphurithat, Mr. Thanatat Chawaldit, and Ms. Sasitorn Pongadisak, FTI Board Member, attended the celebration marking the 50th anniversary of the Stock Exchange of Thailand at the seminar “Legacy & Future: 50 Years of Thai Capital Market” held at the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. Mr. Assadae Kongsiri, Director and Manager of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, delivered the welcome address.

The seminar “Legacy & Future: 50 Years of Thai Capital Market” was organized to reflect the important role of the Stock Exchange of Thailand in the development and enhancement of the Thai capital market for sustainable and stable growth in all dimensions, particularly in the area of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). The event featured discussions from senior executives in the public sector, financial market, and capital market, who shared their experiences and perspectives on governance, analyzing past developments towards laying a strong foundation for the Thai capital market to further support the Thai economy and society in the long term.

FTI's participation in this event reflects the strong collaboration between the industrial sector and the Thai capital markets, with a shared goal of driving the country towards sustainable development in the future.
