ส.อ.ท. เข้าพบกรมส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมเนื่องในโอกาสสวัสดีปีใหม่ พร้อมหนุน ESG สู่ผู้ประกอบการFTI Meets with the Department of Industrial Promotion for New Year Greetings and Supports ESG for Entrepreneurs

On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Mr. Teerapol Tirovasin, Chairman of the Eco Factory Working Group and representative of the Water and Environmental Institute for Sustainability, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), met with Dr. Athisit Patanapongchai, Director of the Industrial Digital Development Division, and Dr. Worawit Jiratitjareon, Director of the Entrepreneur and New Business Promotion Division, Department of Industrial Promotion, on the occasion of New Year greetings at the Department of Industrial Promotion.

Additionally, discussions were held on the promotion of SMEs in accordance with sustainable organizational development, which includes Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The representatives of the Institute emphasized the use of the Eco Factory standard to help promote the implementation of ESG principles among entrepreneurs and to collaborate on developing training for Eco Factory standard assessors to understand ESG principles, in order to enhance the criteria for the Eco Factory standards. The Department of Industrial Promotion is also prepared to support training on ESG knowledge for personnel in the target groups of the Institute, as well as providing support for other activities that promote SMEs.
