พันธกิจ
- ศึกษา ติดตาม และวิเคราะห์ภาวะเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมทั้งในและต่างประเทศ
- จัดทำข้อมูล ดัชนี และรายงานทางวิชาการ เพื่อเผยแพร่แก่สมาชิกและสาธารณะ
- สนับสนุนข้อมูลเชิงวิชาการสำหรับการจัดทำข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายของ ส.อ.ท. ต่อภาครัฐ
หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบของหน่วยงาน
- สำรวจและจัดทำดัชนีความเชื่อมั่นภาคอุตสาหกรรม และข้อมูลเศรษฐกิจอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง
- วิเคราะห์ผลกระทบของนโยบาย มาตรการ และสถานการณ์เศรษฐกิจที่มีต่อภาคอุตสาหกรรม
- จัดทำเอกสารวิชาการ บทวิเคราะห์ และข้อมูลประกอบการประชุมของผู้บริหารและคณะกรรมการ
- ประสานความร่วมมือด้านข้อมูลและงานวิชาการกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และสถาบันการศึกษา

- To study, monitor, and analyze the economic and industrial conditions both domestically and internationally.
- To compile data, indices, and academic reports for dissemination to members and the public.
- To support academic information for FTI's policy proposals to the government.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Organization
- To survey and create indices of industrial confidence and related industrial economic data.
- To analyze the impact of policies, measures, and economic conditions on the industrial sector.
- To prepare academic documents, analyses, and meeting materials for executives and committees.
- To coordinate information and academic collaboration with government agencies, the private sector, and educational institutions.
