เมื่อวันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2569 นายมนตรี มหาพฤกษ์พงศ์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองและร่วมแสดงความยินดีกับ H.E. Ms. Ping Kitnikone เอกอัครราชทูตแคนาดาประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาสวันชาติแคนาดา โดยภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจาก นายวิชาวัฒน์ อิศรภักดี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กล่าวแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสดังกล่าว ณ โรงแรม The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok
ทั้งนี้ ปี 2569 ยังเป็นโอกาสในการครบรอบ 65 ปีแห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและแคนาดา ซึ่งตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา ทั้งสองประเทศได้พัฒนาความร่วมมืออย่างต่อเนื่องในหลากหลายมิติ โดยเฉพาะด้านการค้า การลงทุน และความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจ รวมถึงความคืบหน้าในการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรี (FTA) ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นร่วมกันในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือที่เป็นประโยชน์ระหว่างกันอย่างยั่งยืนในอนาคต
On July 1, 2026, Mr. Montri Mahapruekpong, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended a reception and extended congratulations to H.E. Ms. Ping Kitnikone, Ambassador of Canada to Thailand, on the occasion of Canada Day. The event was honored by Mr. Vichawatt Isarapakdee, Assistant Minister to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who delivered a congratulatory address on this occasion at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok.
This year, 2026, also marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Canada. Throughout this period, both countries have continuously developed cooperation across various dimensions, particularly in trade, investment, and economic collaboration, including progress in the negotiation of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA), which reflects a mutual commitment to strengthening the relationship and promoting sustainable cooperation that benefits both sides in the future.
