เมื่อวันที่ 4 เมษายน 2567 นายอภิชิต ประสพรัตน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสถาบันวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมอุตสาหกรรมการผลิต (SMI) พร้อมด้วย ดร.สรณันท์ จิวะสุรัตน์ รองประธานสถาบัน SMI นายอภิภพ พึ่งชาญชัยกุล กรรมการสถาบัน SMI นายสุพจน์ ชัยวิไล กรรมการสถาบัน SMI นายถาวร กนกวลีวงศ์ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องนุ่งห่ม ดร.จิราภรณ์ วิริยะพงษากุล ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมสิ่งทอ นายสมคิด รัตนประภาพร รองประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมสิ่งทอ นางสาวศิรินุช คีตะนิธินันท์ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมหัตถกรรมสร้างสรรค์ นายนาคาญ์ ทวิชาวัฒน์ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมผลิตภัณฑ์เสริมอาหาร และดร.สรณันท์ จิวะสุรัตน์ รองประธานสถาบัน SMI เข้าหารือ ดร.ก้องศักด ยอดมณี ผู้ว่าการการกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย (กกท.) เพื่อรวบรวมแนวคิดการจัดตั้งเครือข่ายธุรกิจกีฬา ให้สินค้าไทยพร้อมก้าวสู่ตลาดโลก ณ สำนักงานการกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย
ทั้งนี้ ได้มีการหารือเรื่องแนวโน้มเศรษฐกิจด้านกีฬาและความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดตั้งเครือข่ายธุรกิจกีฬา เพื่อผลักดันผู้ประกอบการไทยในสายธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวข้องตลอดซัพพลายเชน (Supply Chain) และให้ผู้ประกอบการสามารถก้าวสู่ตลาดการค้าโลกได้ ซึ่ง กกท. ยินดีและพร้อมให้การสนับสนุนด้านเครือข่ายสมาคมต่างๆ แก่ ส.อ.ท. โดยขั้นถัดไป ส.อ.ท. จะดำเนินการจัดตั้งคณะกรรมการเครือข่ายดังกล่าว และประสานหาหน่วยร่วมธุรกิจ เพื่อให้ครอบคลุมทั้งวงจร Supply Chain ต่อไป
On April 4, 2024, Mr. Apichit Prasoprat, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and President of the Small and Medium Enterprises Institute of the Manufacturing Industry (SMI), along with Dr. Soranan Jivasurath, Vice Chairman of the SMI Institute, Mr. Apiphob Phungchanchaikul, Committee Member of the SMI Institute, Mr. Supachai Chaiwilai, Committee Member of the SMI Institute, Mr. Thaworn Kanokvaliwong, Chairman of the Garment Industry Group, Dr. Jiraphorn WiriyaPhongsaKun, Chairman of the Textile Industry Group, Mr. Somkid Ratanaprapaporn, Vice Chairman of the Textile Industry Group, Ms. Sirinuch KeetaniThinan, Chairperson of the Creative Handicrafts Industry Group, Mr. Nakarn Tiwichawath, Chairman of the Dietary Supplement Industry Group, and Dr. Soranan Jivasurath, Vice Chairman of the SMI Institute, met with Dr. Kong Sak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), to gather ideas for establishing a sports business network to prepare Thai products for entering the global market at the Sports Authority of Thailand office.
During this meeting, discussions were held regarding the economic trends in the sports sector and the feasibility of establishing a sports business network to support Thai entrepreneurs throughout the supply chain. The SAT expressed its willingness and readiness to support various associations to the FTI. Moving forward, the FTI will establish a committee for this network and coordinate with business partners to cover the entire Supply Chain.
