เมื่อวันที่ 8 มีนาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท) พร้อมด้วยนางสาวเพชรรัตน์ เอกแสงกุล รองประธาน ส.อ.ท นายสมศักดิ์ ศรีสุภรวาณิชย์ กรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท และนายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน ได้ให้การต้อนรับนายโจว กวางเย่า (Mr. Zhou Guangyao) ผู้แทนสภาส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศแห่งประเทศจีน (CCPIT) ประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่และหารือความร่วมมือด้านการค้า การลงทุนร่วมกัน ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ชั้น 8 ส.อ.ท.
ส.อ.ท. ได้แนะนำบทบาทหน้าที่ของ ส.อ.ท และสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน ในด้านการผลักดันการลงทุนของภาคอุตสาหกรรมในไทย ดังนี้
1. แนวโน้มและสถานการณ์ด้านการลงทุนของผู้ประกอบการชาวจีน มีจำนวนเพิ่มมากขึ้นในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ ในประเทศไทย เช่น การเข้ามาลงทุนที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นในด้านอุตสาหกรรมด้านยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า และอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตเครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าในเขตระเบียงเศรษฐกิจภาคตะวันออก (EEC) เป็นต้น
2. ความร่วมมือในการจัดทำ MOU ร่วมกันระหว่างส.อ.ท และหน่วยงาน CCPIT จีนในแต่ละมณฑล ด้านการผลักดันในอุตสาหกรรมที่มีศักยภาพร่วมกันระหว่างสองประเทศ เช่น ด้านอิเล็กทรอนิกส์และเทคโนโลยี ด้านการขนส่งโลจิสติกส์ ด้านการลงทุนทางการเงิน เป็นต้น
3. การเชิญผู้ประกอบการไทยเข้าร่วมงาน The Second China International Supply Chain Expo ณ เมืองปักกิ่ง ประเทศจีนในช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายน ซึ่งเป็นงานแสดงสินค้าอุตสาหกรรมและเทคโนโลยีของจีน เพื่อส่งเสริมการค้าขายร่วมกันระหว่างผู้ประกอบการชาวจีนกับต่างประเทศ
On March 8, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Ms. Pechara Eksangkul, Vice President of FTI, Mr. Somsak Srisuparvanich, Executive Board Member of FTI, and Mr. Arun Iamsuri, President of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute, welcomed Mr. Zhou Guangyao, representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Thailand, on the occasion of his new appointment and to discuss cooperation in trade and investment at the Mongkolsuthee Room, 8th Floor, FTI.
The FTI introduced the roles and responsibilities of the FTI and the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute in promoting industrial investment in Thailand as follows:
1. The trend and situation regarding investment from Chinese entrepreneurs is increasing across various industries in Thailand, such as a significant rise in investments in the electric vehicle industry and the electrical appliance manufacturing sector in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), among others.
2. Cooperation in establishing MOUs between FTI and CCPIT agencies in each province, to promote industries with potential between the two countries, such as in electronics and technology, logistics transportation, and financial investments.
3. Inviting Thai entrepreneurs to participate in The Second China International Supply Chain Expo in Beijing, China, during November, which is an exhibition of industrial and technology products from China, to promote trade between Chinese entrepreneurs and foreign countries.
