เมื่อวัน 25 มกราคม 2567 นายสมชาย หวังวัฒนาพาณิช รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้เข้าร่วมหารือกับคณะผู้แทนภาคเอกชนเยอรมนี นำโดย Mr.Michael Kellner รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงเศรษฐกิจและการปฏิบัติการด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศ สหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนี (BMWK) ณ โรงแรมแมนดาริน โอเรียนเต็ล
การประชุมร่วมระหว่างภาคเอกชนไทยและเยอรมนี ประกอบไปด้วยผู้แทนบริษัทชั้นนำได้แก่ มีบริษัท ปตท. จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท บางจาก คอร์ปอเรชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท ปูนซิเมนต์ไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) กลุ่มบริษัทในเครือซีพีกรุ๊ป และกลุ่มบริษัทในเครือเซ็นทรัล และตัวแทนภาคธุรกิจเยอรมัน เช่น บริษัท ENERTRAG SE, Tesa SE, Gebr. Knauf KG จาก 5 กลุ่มสาขา ได้แก่ 1) งานแสดงสินค้านานาชาติ 2) อุตสาหกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์และยานยนต์ 3) พลังงานหมุนเวียนและสิ่งแวดล้อม 4) บริการ ดิจิทัลและการศึกษา และ 5) วัสดุก่อสร้าง การก่อสร้างและโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็น และความต้องการด้านการส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างกัน สำหรับหาช่องทางและโอกาสทางการค้ามายังประเทศไทยและภูมิภาคอาเซียนต่อไป
On January 25, 2024, Mr. Somchai Wangwattanapanit, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in discussions with a delegation of the German private sector led by Mr. Michael Kellner, the State Secretary in the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMWK) at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
The meeting between the Thai and German private sectors included representatives from leading companies such as PTT Public Company Limited, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, Siam Cement Public Company Limited, the CP Group, and the Central Group, as well as representatives from German businesses such as ENERTRAG SE, Tesa SE, and Gebr. Knauf KG across five sectors: 1) International Trade Exhibitions, 2) Electronics and Automotive Industry, 3) Renewable Energy and Environment, 4) Digital Services and Education, and 5) Construction Materials, Construction, and Infrastructure to exchange opinions and needs regarding trade and investment promotion between each other in order to find avenues and opportunities for trade to Thailand and the ASEAN region moving forward.
