เมื่อวันที่ 6 สิงหาคม 2569 นายเวทิต โชควัฒนา รองประธานอาวุโสสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) นายสมมาต ขุนเศษฐ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นางสาวนุตรา อุตมาภินันท์ กรรมการและเลขานุการสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ และ ดร.ธัญลักษณ์ ธนปกิจ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายกิจการต่างประเทศ ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในโอกาสวันชาติสาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ ครบรอบ 61 ปี เพื่อร่วมแสดงความยินดีและเฉลิมฉลองความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นระหว่างประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ ณ โรงแรมแชงกรี-ลา กรุงเทพฯ (Shangri-La Bangkok)
ภายในงาน H.E. Ms. Catherine Wong Siow Ping เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ประจำประเทศไทย ได้กล่าวต้อนรับแขกผู้มีเกียรติ พร้อมกล่าวถึงพัฒนาการและความสำเร็จของสิงคโปร์ตลอดระยะเวลา 61 ปีที่ผ่านมา ตลอดจนเน้นย้ำถึงความสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างสิงคโปร์กับประเทศไทย ในการส่งเสริมการค้า การลงทุน นวัตกรรม และการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของภูมิภาคอย่างยั่งยืน
ไทยและสิงคโปร์มีความสัมพันธ์อันดีและความร่วมมืออย่างใกล้ชิดในหลายมิติ ทั้งด้านการค้า การลงทุน อุตสาหกรรม และนวัตกรรม โดยสิงคโปร์นับเป็นหนึ่งในคู่ค้าและนักลงทุนที่สำคัญของประเทศไทย
ทั้งนี้ ภายในงานยังเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้แทนจากภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน คณะผู้แทนทางการทูต และองค์กรต่าง ๆ ได้พบปะแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น พร้อมกระชับความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และการลงทุน อันจะนำไปสู่การสนับสนุนการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมและการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนของทั้งสองประเทศ รวมถึงภูมิภาคอาเซียนโดยรวม
On August 6, 2026, Mr. Wetith Chokwattana, Senior Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), Mr. Sommat Khunseth, Vice President of FTI, Ms. Nutra Utamaphinan, Director and Secretary of the ASEAN and Logistics Division, and Dr. Thanyalak Thanapakkij, Director of the Foreign Affairs Division of FTI, attended a reception held on the 61st National Day of the Republic of Singapore to convey their congratulations and celebrate the strong relationship between Thailand and the Republic of Singapore at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.
During the event, H.E. Ms. Catherine Wong Siow Ping, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Thailand, welcomed distinguished guests and discussed the development and achievements of Singapore over the past 61 years, as well as emphasized the importance of cooperation between Singapore and Thailand in promoting trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable economic development in the region.
Thailand and Singapore share a strong and close cooperation in various dimensions, including trade, investment, industry, and innovation, with Singapore being one of Thailand's key trading and investment partners.
Furthermore, the event provided an opportunity for representatives from the public sector, private sector, diplomatic missions, and various organizations to meet and exchange views, as well as strengthen cooperation in economic, trade, and investment areas, which will lead to supporting the development of industry and sustainable growth for both countries and the ASEAN region as a whole.
