ส.อ.ท. ทำหน้าที่เป็นกลไกเชื่อมโยงภาคอุตสาหกรรม ภาครัฐ และเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อส่งเสริมการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีสีเขียวและขับเคลื่อนแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหามลพิษทางอากาศของอาเซียนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
เมื่อวันที่ 30 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวสุนีย์ วรวุฒางกูร กรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และกรรมการสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ เข้าร่วมการประชุมเพื่อขับเคลื่อนนโยบายสิ่งแวดล้อมเชิงรุก แก้ไขปัญหามลพิษทางอากาศและหมอกควันข้ามแดนในภูมิภาคอาเซียน ภายใต้หัวข้อ “CLEAR Sky Strategy: A Green Tech Conference, Towards A Haze-Free ASEAN” ณ วิเทศสโมสร กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ
การประชุมฯ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อระดมความคิดเห็นในการนำนวัตกรรมสีเขียวมาประยุกต์ใช้แก้ไขปัญหาฝุ่นละออง PM2.5 และหมอกควันข้ามแดน ซึ่งส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพและเศรษฐกิจในอนุภูมิภาคอาเซียน
ภายในงานมุ่งเน้นการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และเทคโนโลยีใน 3 ด้านสำคัญ ได้แก่ เทคโนโลยีบริหารจัดการหมอกควันและไฟป่า เทคโนโลยีการติดตามและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคุณภาพอากาศ รวมถึงเทคโนโลยีการเกษตรยั่งยืนเพื่อลดปัญหาการเผาในพื้นที่โล่ง พร้อมทั้งเปิดแพลตฟอร์มความร่วมมือกับภาคเอกชนและประเทศคู่เจรจาในอาเซียน
ทั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. จะทำหน้าที่เชื่อมความร่วมมือระหว่างภาคอุตสาหกรรม ภาครัฐ และเครือข่ายระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อผลักดันข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายและการลงทุนด้านเทคโนโลยีสีเขียวให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรม พร้อมมุ่งส่งเสริมให้ภูมิภาคอาเซียนก้าวข้ามวิกฤตหมอกควัน และบรรลุเป้าหมายการเป็นสังคมปลอดฝุ่นอย่างยั่งยืน

On September 30, 2026, Ms. Sunee Voravuthangkul, a board member of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and a committee member of the ASEAN and Logistics Sector, participated in a meeting to advance proactive environmental policies to address air pollution and cross-border haze issues in the ASEAN region under the topic "CLEAR Sky Strategy: A Green Tech Conference, Towards A Haze-Free ASEAN" at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs International Club.
The purpose of the meeting was to gather opinions on the application of green innovations to address PM2.5 dust and transboundary haze issues, which affect health and the economy in the ASEAN subregion.
The event focused on exchanging knowledge and technology in three important areas: technology for managing haze and forest fires, technology for monitoring and analyzing air quality data, and sustainable agricultural technology to reduce burning issues in open areas, along with launching a cooperation platform with the private sector and negotiating countries in ASEAN.
In this regard, FTI will serve as a connector for collaboration between the industrial sector, the government, and international networks to push for concrete policy recommendations and investment in green technology, aiming to promote the ASEAN region to overcome haze crises and achieve the goal of being a sustainable dust-free society.
