เมื่อวันที่ 30 เมษายน 2569 นายวิเชาวน์ รักพงษ์ไพโรจน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรอง พร้อมมอบกระเช้าดอกไม้แสดงความยินดีกับ Ms. Monika Krzewicka อุปทูตรักษาการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์ประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาสวันรัฐธรรมนูญและวันชาติของสาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์ โดยมีนายศรัณย์ เจริญสุวรรณ เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กล่าวแสดงความยินดี ณ โรงแรมสยามเคมปินสกี้ (Siam Kempinski) กรุงเทพฯ
ประเทศไทยและสาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์สถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตอย่างเป็นทางการเมื่อวันที่ 14 พฤศจิกายน 2515 และมีความร่วมมืออย่างต่อเนื่องจนถึงปัจจุบัน โดยในปี 2569 นับเป็นวาระครบรอบ 54 ปีของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสองประเทศ
ปัจจุบัน ไทยและโปแลนด์มีความร่วมมือในหลายมิติ โดยโปแลนด์เป็นคู่ค้าอันดับที่ 46 ของไทย มีมูลค่าการค้ารวม 1,407 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐในปีที่ผ่านมา ขณะเดียวกัน สายการบินแห่งชาติโปแลนด์ LOT Polish Airlines ได้ประกาศเปิดเส้นทางบินตรงระยะไกล วอร์ซอ–กรุงเทพฯ ซึ่งมีกำหนดเริ่มให้บริการในเดือนตุลาคม 2569 นับเป็นพัฒนาการสำคัญที่จะช่วยส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว การค้า และความเชื่อมโยงทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างสองประเทศ
นอกจากนี้ สาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์ยังมีบทบาทสำคัญในการสนับสนุนการผลักดันความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย–สหภาพยุโรป (EU–Thailand FTA) รวมถึงการสนับสนุนการเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD ของไทย ซึ่งจะเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการขยายโอกาสด้านการค้า การลงทุน ตลอดจนความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาและเทคโนโลยีในระยะยาว
On April 30, 2026, Mr. Vichawarn Rukpongphairoj, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended a reception event and presented a flower basket to congratulate Ms. Monika Krzewicka, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Thailand, on the occasion of the Constitution Day and National Day of the Republic of Poland. Mr. Saran Jaroensuwan, Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, also expressed congratulations at the Siam Kempinski Hotel in Bangkok.
Thailand and the Republic of Poland officially established diplomatic relations on November 14, 1972, and have continued to cooperate up to the present day. In 2026, it marks the 54th anniversary of the relationship between the two countries.
Currently, Thailand and Poland cooperate in various dimensions, with Poland being Thailand's 46th trading partner, having a total trade value of 1.407 billion USD in the past year. At the same time, LOT Polish Airlines has announced the launch of a direct long-haul flight route from Warsaw to Bangkok, scheduled to commence in October 2026, which will be a significant development to promote tourism, trade, and economic connectivity between the two countries.
Additionally, the Republic of Poland plays a crucial role in supporting the push for the Thailand-European Union Free Trade Agreement (EU–Thailand FTA) and endorsing Thailand's membership in the OECD, which will be an important mechanism for expanding opportunities in trade, investment, as well as long-term cooperation in education and technology.
