เมื่อวันที่ 21–22 เมษายน 2569 ดร.ธัญลักษณ์ ธนปกิจ ผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายต่างประเทศ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นผู้แทนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม Pre-course ภายใต้โครงการ “The 2nd Advanced Workshop on OECD Accession” ณ โรงแรม VIE Hotel กรุงเทพฯ ร่วมกับผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนของไทย รวม 24 คน เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนเข้าร่วมการอบรมหลักสูตรดังกล่าว ซึ่งรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียมีกำหนดจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 8–19 มิถุนายน 2569 ณ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับเกียรติจาก H.E. Dr. Angela Macdonald PSM เอกอัครราชทูตออสเตรเลียประจำประเทศไทย กล่าวต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงาน พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจาก The University of Queensland ร่วมให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับหลักสูตร โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการเข้าเป็นสมาชิกองค์การเพื่อความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการพัฒนา (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development: OECD) ของประเทศไทย ตลอดจนเตรียมความพร้อมด้านเนื้อหาและแนวทางสำหรับการอบรมเชิงลึก ณ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย
ทั้งนี้ มีผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยควีนส์แลนด์ หน่วยงานภาครัฐของออสเตรเลีย และผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่เกี่ยวข้องร่วมบรรยายตลอดหลักสูตร
ตลอดระยะเวลา 2 วัน ผู้เข้าร่วมได้รับฟังการบรรยายในประเด็นสำคัญ อาทิ ภาพรวมกระบวนการเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD ของไทย การบูรณาการการทำงานระหว่างภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน การยกระดับคุณภาพกฎระเบียบและนโยบาย การส่งเสริมธรรมาภิบาลและการต่อต้านการทุจริต ตลอดจนการเสริมสร้างหลักนิติธรรม และขีดความสามารถของภาครัฐและภาคธุรกิจ ซึ่งเป็นประเด็นสำคัญภายใต้การประเมินเชิงเทคนิคของ OECD
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการเสวนาและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความคืบหน้าของประเทศไทย มุมมองจากผู้แทน OECD ประสบการณ์จากผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการรุ่นที่ 1 รวมถึงบทบาทของภาคอุตสาหกรรม สื่อมวลชน สถาบันการศึกษา และภาควิชาการ ต่อการขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่มาตรฐานสากล
โครงการดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งที่สอง ภายใต้กรอบความร่วมมือ Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) ซึ่งเป็นความริเริ่มของรัฐบาลออสเตรเลียในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือกับประเทศอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มน้ำโขง ครอบคลุมด้านการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ การเสริมสร้างธรรมาภิบาล และการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรภาครัฐ เพื่อสนับสนุนประเทศไทยในการเตรียมความพร้อมสู่กระบวนการเข้าเป็นสมาชิก OECD อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืน
On April 21-22, 2026, Dr. Thanyakorn Thanapakit, Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), represented the organization at the Pre-course event under the project "The 2nd Advanced Workshop on OECD Accession" at VIE Hotel, Bangkok, along with representatives from 24 government and private sector organizations in Thailand to prepare for participation in the core training program, which the Australian government is scheduled to hold from June 8-19, 2026, in Australia.
This event was honored by H.E. Dr. Angela Macdonald PSM, Ambassador of Australia to Thailand, who welcomed the participants, along with representatives from The University of Queensland who provided information about the course. The objective was to enhance knowledge, understanding, and to exchange views on the process of Thailand's accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), as well as to prepare content and approaches for the in-depth training in Australia.
Representatives from The University of Queensland, Australian public agencies, and relevant experts lectured throughout the course. Over the two days, participants listened to key lectures on topics such as the overview of Thailand's accession process to the OECD, the integration of work between the public and private sectors, improving the quality of regulations and policies, promoting good governance and anti-corruption, as well as strengthening the rule of law and the capabilities of government and business sectors, which are crucial issues under the technical assessment by the OECD.
Additionally, there were discussions and exchanges of views regarding Thailand's progress, perspectives from OECD representatives, experiences from participants of the first cohort, as well as the role of the industrial sector, media, academic institutions, and the academic community in driving Thailand towards international standards.
This project is being conducted for the second time under the Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) framework, which is an initiative by the Australian government to promote cooperation with the countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion, covering aspects of economic development, governance enhancement, and public sector capacity building, to effectively and sustainably support Thailand in preparing for the OECD membership process.
