วันที่ 25 มีนาคม 2569 นายกริช อึ้งวิฑูรสถิตย์ รองประธานสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ และประธานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมธุรกิจภูมิภาคอาเซียน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะทำงานส่งเสริมธุรกิจอาเซียนตอนใต้ ภายใต้คณะกรรมการส่งเสริมธุรกิจภูมิภาคอาเซียน สายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ และคณะทำงานย่อยสำหรับการจัดทำโครงการศึกษาแนวทางการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสินค้าและบริการฮาลาลไทย เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนายอรุณ บุญชม จุฬาราชมนตรี ณ สำนักจุฬาราชมนตรี
ในการนี้ ส.อ.ท. ได้นำเสนอภาพรวมโครงการศึกษาแนวทางการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสินค้าและบริการฮาลาลไทย โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลัก ได้แก่
1. การจัดทำ Roadmap เชิงกลยุทธ์ วางแนวทางบูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ เอกชน และองค์กรศาสนา
2. การยกระดับมาตรฐานฮาลาลไทย มุ่งเน้นการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการรับรองและกระบวนการผลิตให้เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล (Global Standard) เพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่นแก่ผู้บริโภคทั่วโลก
3. การเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน สนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการไทยให้สามารถเจาะตลาดกลุ่มประเทศองค์การความร่วมมืออิสลาม (OIC) และตลาดฮาลาลโลกที่มีการเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง
นายกริช เน้นย้ำว่า หากโครงการนี้ประสบความสำเร็จ จะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมฮาลาลของประเทศไทย โดยสามารถเป็น New Growth Engine หรือเครื่องยนต์ขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจใหม่ของประเทศ ทั้งในด้าน
1. การขยายฐานการส่งออก เพิ่มส่วนแบ่งตลาดในสินค้ากลุ่มอาหาร เครื่องสำอาง ยา และบริการ
2. การเสริมศักยภาพเศรษฐกิจไทย กระตุ้นการจ้างงานและการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทาน
3. การสร้างความยั่งยืน ยกระดับรายได้ให้แก่เกษตรกรและผู้ผลิตในท้องถิ่น ส่งผลให้เศรษฐกิจไทยเติบโตอย่างมั่นคง
ทั้งนี้ นายอรุณ ได้กล่าวต้อนรับและแสดงความชื่นชมต่อโครงการดังกล่าว พร้อมให้ข้อเสนอแนะที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการจัดทำสมุดปกขาว (White Paper) เพื่อใช้ในการวางยุทธศาสตร์ขับเคลื่อนและพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมฮาลาลของประเทศ ให้ครอบคลุมทั้งมิติทางศาสนาและมิติเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวม อันจะเป็นกุญแจสำคัญในการผลักดันประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นศูนย์กลางฮาลาล (Halal Hub) ในระดับภูมิภาคและระดับโลกในระยะต่อไป
On March 25, 2026, Mr. Krit Ungvithanrasit, Vice President of ASEAN and Logistics Division and Chairman of the ASEAN Regional Business Promotion Committee of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with the Southern ASEAN Business Promotion Working Group under the ASEAN Regional Business Promotion Committee and the Sub-Working Group for the Study Project to Promote and Develop the Thai Halal Products and Services Industry, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Arun Boonchom, Chularajamontri at the Office of the Chularajamontri.
During this visit, FTI presented an overview of the study project to promote and develop the Thai Halal products and services industry, with the main objectives as follows:
1. Prepare a Strategic Roadmap to establish a framework for cooperation among the government, private sector, and religious organizations.
2. Elevate Thai halal standards, focusing on enhancing certification efficiency and production processes to achieve global recognition (Global Standard) to instill confidence among consumers worldwide.
3. Enhance competitiveness, supporting Thai entrepreneurs in penetrating markets of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries and the continually growing global halal market.
Mr. Krit emphasized that if this project succeeds, it will lead to the development of Thailand's halal industry, potentially becoming a New Growth Engine for the country’s economy in terms of
1. Expanding the export base, increasing market share in food products, cosmetics, medicines, and services.
2. Enhancing the economic capabilities of Thailand by stimulating employment and investments in related industries throughout the supply chain.
3. Creating sustainability and enhancing income for farmers and local producers, thereby contributing to stable economic growth in Thailand.
During the meeting, Mr. Arun welcomed and expressed appreciation for the project, offering valuable suggestions for the development of a White Paper to guide the strategy for driving and developing the halal industry in the country, ensuring it encompasses both religious aspects and public benefits, which will be a key to propelling Thailand into becoming a regional and global Halal Hub in the future.
