เมื่อวันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม 2569 นายวิเชาวน์ รักพงษ์ไพโรจน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองและมอบกระเช้าดอกไม้แสดงความยินดีแก่ H.E. Ms. Alicia Alejandra Alfaro Castillo เอกอัครราชทูตโคลอมเบียประจำประเทศไทย เนื่องในโอกาสวันชาติสาธารณรัฐโคลอมเบีย โดยภายในงานได้รับเกียรติจากนายวิชาวัฒน์ อิศรภักดี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กล่าวแสดงความยินดี ณ โรงแรมไฮแอท รีเจนซี่ กรุงเทพฯ สุขุมวิท (Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit)
ทั้งนี้ ปี 2569 นับเป็นวาระครบรอบ 216 ปีแห่งการประกาศเอกราชของสาธารณรัฐโคลอมเบีย และครบรอบ 47 ปีแห่งการสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตระหว่างไทยและโคลอมเบีย ซึ่งตลอดระยะเวลาที่ผ่านมา ทั้งสองประเทศได้พัฒนาความร่วมมืออย่างต่อเนื่องในหลากหลายมิติ โดยเฉพาะด้านการค้า การลงทุน และความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจ อันเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างกัน
นอกจากนี้ ไทยและโคลอมเบียยังมีศักยภาพในการขยายความร่วมมือในสาขาที่มีความสนใจร่วมกัน อาทิ ภาคการเกษตรและอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร ความมั่นคงทางอาหาร พลังงานหมุนเวียน การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล ตลอดจนวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม ซึ่งจะช่วยเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมโยงทางเศรษฐกิจ เพิ่มโอกาสทางการค้าและการลงทุน และสนับสนุนการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนของทั้งสองประเทศในอนาคต
On July 22, 2026, Mr. Wichawut Rukphongphairoj, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended a reception and presented a floral basket to congratulate H.E. Ms. Alicia Alejandra Alfaro Castillo, Ambassador of Colombia to Thailand, on the occasion of Colombia's National Day. The event was honored by Mr. Witchawath Ittaropakhun, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, who expressed congratulations at the Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit.
This year, 2026 marks the 216th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Colombia and the 47th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Colombia. Over the years, both countries have continuously developed cooperation in various dimensions, particularly in trade, investment, and economic collaboration, which serves as a crucial foundation for promoting good relations between them.
Furthermore, Thailand and Colombia have the potential to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest, such as agriculture and agribusiness, food security, renewable energy, sustainable development, digital economy, as well as science, technology, and innovation, which will help strengthen economic connectivity, enhance trade and investment opportunities, and support sustainable growth for both countries in the future.
