เมื่อวันที่ 6 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมการประชุม APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) ครั้งที่ 3/2026 ณ ห้องอาหาร Fossil and Flame at Asiatique The Riverfront
การประชุม ABAC เป็นเวทีความร่วมมือของผู้แทนภาคธุรกิจจาก 21 เขตเศรษฐกิจสมาชิกเอเปค ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำปีละ 4 ครั้ง เพื่อหารือและจัดทำข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายจากมุมมองของภาคเอกชนในประเด็นสำคัญ อาทิ การส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุน การเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่เศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และการเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมโยงทางเศรษฐกิจในภูมิภาค
ข้อเสนอแนะจากการประชุมจะถูกรวบรวมและจัดทำเป็นรายงานประจำปี เพื่อนำเสนอต่อผู้นำเขตเศรษฐกิจเอเปค เพื่อใช้ประกอบการกำหนดนโยบายและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจในภูมิภาคเอเชีย-แปซิฟิกอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม
On July 6, 2026, Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairperson of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with FTI executives, attended a welcome dinner for participants of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Meeting III/2026 at Fossil and Flame restaurant at Asiatique The Riverfront.
The ABAC meeting serves as a platform for cooperation among business representatives from 21 APEC member economies. It is held four times a year to discuss and formulate policy recommendations from the private sector's perspective on crucial issues such as trade and investment promotion, the transition to a digital economy, sustainable development, and enhancing economic connectivity in the region.
The recommendations from the meeting will be compiled into an annual report to be presented to the leaders of APEC economies, to inform policy-making and promote concrete economic cooperation throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
