เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 6 ธันวาคม 2567 นายธนารักษ์ พงษ์เภตรา รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร.อภิสิทธิ์ เตชะนิธิสวัสดิ์ ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมภาคกลาง และกรรมการสถาบันวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมอุตสาหกรรมการผลิต (SMI) และนายจิรบูลย์ วิทยสิงห์ กรรมการสถาบัน SMI เข้าร่วมประชุมให้ความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความต้องการของภาคเอกชนเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการส่งเสริมและยกระดับ SME ไทย ร่วมกับกระทรวงพาณิชย์ หน่วยงานภาครัฐ และ 7 หน่วยงานภาคเอกชน ณ ห้องประชุมมโนปกรณ์นิติธาดา ชั้น 12 กระทรวงพาณิชย์
การประชุมในครั้งนี้ นายพิชัย นริพทะพันธุ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ เป็นประธานในการประชุมฯ และให้ข้อเสนอแนะในการช่วยลดต้นทุนค่าครองชีพต้นทุนธุรกิจให้ SME เข้าถึงแหล่งเงินทุน ปรับปรุงกฎหมายที่เป็นอุปสรรค ขยายตลาดให้ SME ไทยผ่านแพลตฟอร์มออนไลน์ โดยตั้งเป้าสัดส่วน GDP ของ SME จาก 35% เป็น 40% ให้ได้ภายในปี 2570 พร้อมส่งเสริมนโยบาย SME Next Level เสริมแกร่ง แข่งทุกตลาด สร้างโอกาส SME ไทย
ด้านนายธนารักษ์ เห็นด้วยกับรัฐบาลที่จะส่งเสริมและผลักดันผู้ประกอบการ SME ให้ขยายตลาด แก้ไขปัญหาสินค้าด้อยคุณภาพจากต่างประเทศ ซึ่งอยากให้ภาครัฐผลักดัน SME ไทยไปบุกตลาดต่างประเทศเพิ่มมากขึ้น อีกทั้ง ทางด้าน ดร.อภิสิทธิ์ และนายจิรบูลย์ ยังได้กล่าวถึง แนวทางการส่งเสริม SME ในภาคอุตสาหกรรมด้วยแนวทาง 4Go (Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, Go Green) เพื่อพัฒนาสู่ Smart SME อีกด้วย
On Friday, December 6, 2024, Mr. Thanarak Pongphaetra, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Dr. Apisit Techanitisawat, Chairman of the Central Industrial Council and a Board Member of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (SMI), and Mr. Jiraboon Wityasingh, also a Board Member of SMI, attended a meeting to provide feedback on the private sector's needs regarding the promotion and enhancement of Thai SMEs in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce, government agencies, and seven private sector organizations at the Manopakorn Nitithada Meeting Room, 12th Floor, Ministry of Commerce.
During this meeting, Mr. Pichai Naripthapanee, the Minister of Commerce, chaired the session and offered suggestions to help reduce the cost of living and business expenditures for SMEs, to facilitate their access to funding sources, to improve obstructive regulations, and to expand the markets for Thai SMEs through online platforms. The goal is to increase the share of GDP from SMEs from 35% to 40% by 2027 while promoting the SME Next Level policy to strengthen competitiveness in all markets and create opportunities for Thai SMEs.
Mr. Thanarak supported the government's efforts to promote and push for SME operators to expand their markets and address the issue of low-quality imports from abroad, emphasizing the desire for the government to help Thai SMEs penetrate international markets further. Additionally, Dr. Apisit and Mr. Jiraboon discussed strategies for promoting SMEs in the industrial sector through the 4Go approach (Go Digital & AI, Go Innovation, Go Global, Go Green) to develop into Smart SMEs.
