เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2567 นายธนารักษ์ พงษ์เภตรา รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และนายวิกรม วัชรคุปต์ กรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม ได้แก่ ไม้อัดไม้บางและวัสดุแผ่น ยาง โรงเลื่อยและโรงอบไม้ เฟอร์นิเจอร์ เยื่อและกระดาษ น้ำมันปาล์ม หนังและผลิตภัณฑ์หนัง อาหารและเครื่องดื่ม เข้าพบนายเอกนัฏ พร้อมพันธุ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการ ภายใต้กฎหมาย EUDR ณ ห้องประชุม อก. 1 ชั้น 2 สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม
การหารือฯ ดังกล่าว ได้รับเกียรติจากนายเอกนัฏ พร้อมพันธุ์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม เป็นประธานการประชุม โดยมี ดร.ไพลิน เทียนสุวรรณ ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม นายพงศ์พล ยอดเมืองเจริญ เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม นายอรรถวิชช์ สุวรรณภักดี ประธานคณะที่ปรึกษาของรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมด้านยุทธศาสตร์ นางสาวฐิติภัสร์ โชติเดชาชัยนันต์ หัวหน้าคณะทำงานรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม และนายณัฐพล รังสิตพล ปลัดกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรม พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารกระทรวงอุตสาหกรรมเข้าร่วม เพื่อหารือและนำเสนอข้อกังวล รวมถึงแนวทางในการดำเนินงานในการส่งเสริมผู้ประกอบการไทยให้สามารถเตรียมพร้อมรับมือปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนดของกฎหมาย EU Deforestation-free Regulation ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และสร้างความร่วมมือในการสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการในการพัฒนาความยั่งยืนของการผลิตและการส่งออกไปยังตลาดยุโรปตลอดทั้งห่วงโซ่อุปทาน
On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Mr.Thanarak Pongphetra, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and Mr.Wikrom Watcharakul, Executive Director of FTI, along with representatives from industrial groups including plywood and panel materials, rubber, sawmills and wood drying, furniture, pulp and paper, palm oil, leather and leather products, and food and beverages met with Mr.Ekanat Prompan, Minister of the Ministry of Industry, to discuss ways to promote and support entrepreneurs under the EUDR law at the conference room, Department of Industrial Promotion, Level 2, Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry.
The discussion was honored by the presence of Mr.Ekanat Prompan, Minister of the Ministry of Industry, as the meeting chair, along with Dr.Pailin Tiansuwan, Advisor to the Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Mr.Pongpol Yodmuangjaerae, Secretary to the Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Mr.Attawit Suwanphakdee, Chairman of the Minister’s Strategic Advisory Committee, Ms.Tithiphat Chotidetachainant, Head of the Minister’s Working Team, and Mr.Nattapol Rangsitpol, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, along with executives from the Ministry of Industry to discuss and present concerns, as well as strategies for promoting Thai entrepreneurs to effectively prepare for compliance with the EU Deforestation-free Regulation requirements and to create cooperation in supporting entrepreneurs in developing sustainable production and exports to the European market throughout the supply chain.
