เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2567 นายวุฒิกร สติฐิต ประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-มาเลเซีย นายภูมินทร์ หะรินสุต รองประธานกรรมการหอการค้าไทย กรรมการสภาธุรกิจไทย-มาเลเซีย นายปราโมช อู่นนทกานต์ รองประธานสภาธุรกิจไทย-มาเลเซีย และนายนาคาญ์ ทวิชาวัฒน์ รองประธานสายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมประชุม MTBC-TMBC Annual Meeting 2024 นำโดย Mr. Megat Mizan Nicholas Denne ประธานสภาธุรกิจมาเลเซีย-ไทย ณ โรงแรมปทุมวันปริ๊นเซส
ภายในการประชุม ได้หารือด้านการส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างประเทศไทยและมาเลเซีย ซึ่งปัจจุบัน ประเทศมาเลเซียได้จัดตั้งพื้นที่เศรษฐกิจ 6 พื้นที่ ติดชายแดนประเทศไทย อาทิเช่น วังเกอเลียน-ปะลิส, ปาดังเบซาร์-ปะลิส, บูกิตกายูฮีตัม-เกดะห์, เปงกลันกูโบ-เบตง, รันเตาปันจัง-โกลก และ เปงกลันกูโบ-ตากใบ รวมถึงหารือแนวทางการส่งเสริมการค้าในรูปแบบ e-commerce ร่วมกัน
On Friday, November 1, 2024, Mr. Wuttikorn Satitit, Chairman of the Thailand-Malaysia Business Council, Mr. Phumin Harinsut, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Committee Member of the Thailand-Malaysia Business Council, Mr. Pramoj Unnathakarn, Vice Chairman of the Thailand-Malaysia Business Council, and Mr. Nakahn Tewichawat, Vice Chairman of the ASEAN and Logistics Division of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the MTBC-TMBC Annual Meeting 2024 led by Mr. Megat Mizan Nicholas Denne, Chairman of the Malaysia-Thailand Business Council at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the promotion of trade and investment between Thailand and Malaysia, where currently, Malaysia has established six economic zones along the Thailand border, including Wang Kelian-Palil, Padang Besar-Palil, Bukit Kayu Hitam-Kedah, Penglanga Ngu Bo-Betong, Rantau Panjang-Golok, and Penglanga Ngu Bo-Tak Bai. Additionally, they discussed strategies to promote trade in the form of e-commerce collaboratively.
