วันที่ 5 พฤศจิกายน 2567 นายถาวร ชลัษเฐียร รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมเสวนากับพันธมิตรความร่วมมือ สมาคม มหาวิทยาลัย และสถาบันพัฒนาทักษะ ภายในงานแถลงข่าวและอภิปรายเชิงปฏิบัติการ “ONE TVET” (ONE Technical and Vocational Education and Training) โดยมีนายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานในพิธี ณ ห้องเบญจนฤมิต สถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์กองทัพบก ช่อง 5 ถนนพญาไท กรุงเทพฯ
นายถาวร ได้ร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ในเรื่องเทคโนโลยีที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว ซึ่งทาง ส.อ.ท. เร่งส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายไทย 3 ด้านหลัก ได้แก่
1. ด้าน Creative & Innovation
- Digital โดยไทยมีการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลเป็นลำดับต้นๆ ในภูมิภาค และมีการส่งเสริมผ่านนโยบายเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล
- Renewable Energy โดยไทยมีการเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่การใช้พลังงานสะอาด และการให้ความสำคัญกับเป้าหมายการลดก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ (Co2) ของไทย
2. ด้าน High Technology
- Electric Vehicle โดยนโยบายส่งเสริม EV ของไทย 30@30 และราคา EV ที่มีแนวโน้มลดลง ทำให้ความต้องการใช้ EV เพิ่มขึ้น
- Intelligent Electronics ที่มีโอกาสดึงดูดการลงทุนจากอุตสาหกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่ย้ายฐานการผลิต
3. ด้าน Clean Technology
- Biotechnology การใช้จุดแข็งของไทยด้านความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพมาขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมไบโอเทคโนโลยี
- Automation and Robotics ความต้องการใช้ Automation and Robotics เพิ่มสูงขึ้นจากนโยบาย Industry 4.0 และปัญหาขาดแคลนแรงงาน
ทั้งนี้ โครงการ "ONE TVET" มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาทักษะและยกระดับคุณวุฒิของนักศึกษาไทย เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของตลาดแรงงานในยุคอุตสาหกรรม 4.0 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักในการ "Upskill" และ "Reskill" แรงงานไทย ให้มีทักษะที่จำเป็นในอุตสาหกรรมที่มีการเติบโตสูง เช่น ยานยนต์ อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ หุ่นยนต์ และเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล AI
On November 5, 2024, Mr. Thaweewat Chonlathearn, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in a discussion with collaborative partners, associations, universities, and skill development institutions at the press conference and workshop discussion “ONE TVET” (ONE Technical and Vocational Education and Training), chaired by Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakan, Minister of Labor, at the Benjanarasmit Room, Royal Thai Army Radio and Television Channel 5, Phaya Thai Road, Bangkok.
Mr. Thaweewat exchanged knowledge on rapidly changing technologies, emphasizing FTI's efforts to promote three main target industries in Thailand, which are:
1. Creative & Innovation
- Digital: Thailand is one of the top users of digital technology in the region and promotes this through digital economy policies.
- Renewable Energy: Thailand is transitioning to the use of clean energy and prioritizing goals for reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.
2. High Technology
- Electric Vehicle: Thailand's EV policy 30@30 and the decreasing prices of EVs are increasing demand for EVs.
- Intelligent Electronics: opportunities are arising to attract investment from the electronics industry relocating production bases.
3. Clean Technology
- Biotechnology: leveraging Thailand's strengths in biodiversity to drive the biotechnology industry.
- Automation and Robotics: the demand for automation and robotics is increasing due to Industry 4.0 policies and labor shortages.
Moreover, the “ONE TVET” project focuses on skill development and elevating the qualifications of Thai students to meet the demands of the labor market in the era of Industry 4.0. Its core objectives are to “Upskill” and “Reskill” Thai labor to equip them with essential skills in rapidly growing industries such as automotive, electronics, robotics, and digital technology AI.
