วันที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2567 นายชาติชาย พานิชชีวะ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสายงานการค้าและการลงทุน พร้อมด้วยนายวิเชาวน์ รักพงษ์ไพโรจน์ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และประธานสายงานต่างประเทศ นายญาณพล ลิมปนะโชคชัย รองเลขาธิการ ส.อ.ท. และดร. ทวีสันต์ วิรัชพงศานนท์ กรรมการสายงานต่างประเทศ ร่วมต้อนรับและหารือกับ Mr. Kasujja Moses อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐยูกันดาประจำประเทศไทย ถิ่นพำนัก ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ เนื่องในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทย ณ ห้องมงคลสุธี ส.อ.ท.
การหารือ มุ่งเน้นเรื่องการจัดงานแสดงสินค้าและผลิตภัณฑ์จากสาธารณรัฐยูกันดาในประเทศไทย ในช่วงเดือนมีนาคม 2568 เพื่อเสริมสร้างการตระหนักรู้และความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพในด้านต่างๆ ของสาธารณรัฐยูกันดาให้กับผู้ประกอบการไทย ในขณะเดียวกัน ส.อ.ท. ได้เชิญชวนสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ และผู้ประกอบการยูกันดาเข้าร่วมและจัดแสดงสินค้าภายในงาน FTI EXPO 2025 ซึ่งมีกำหนดจัดขึ้นในระหว่างวันที่ 12-15 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ณ ฮอลล์ 5-8 ศูนย์ประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ ตลอดจนการจัดกิจกรรมร่วมกันในอนาคต เพื่อเป็นการส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างกันให้มากยิ่งขึ้น
On October 31, 2024, Mr. Chatchai Panichhewapat, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Chairman of the Trade and Investment Sector, along with Mr. Vichawan Rakpongphairoj, Vice President of the FTI and Chairman of the International Affairs Sector, Mr. Yanaphol Limpanachokchai, Deputy Secretary-General of the FTI, and Dr. Tawisan Virachpongsanont, Committee Member of the International Affairs Sector, welcomed and discussed with Mr. Kasujja Moses, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Thailand, residing in Kuala Lumpur, during his visit to Thailand at the Mongkolsuthee Room, FTI.
The discussion focused on organizing a showcase of goods and products from the Republic of Uganda in Thailand during March 2025, aimed at enhancing awareness and understanding among Thai entrepreneurs regarding the various potentials of the Republic of Uganda. At the same time, the FTI invited the Embassy and Ugandan entrepreneurs to participate in and display their products at the FTI EXPO 2025, scheduled to take place from February 12-15, 2025, at Halls 5-8, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, as well as to collaborate on future activities to further promote trade and investment between the two parties.
