วันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย ดร.ภก. นิลสุวรรณ ลีลารัศมี รองประธาน นายพิภพ โชควัฒนา กรรมการบริหาร ดร. วิบูลย์ รักสาสน์เจริญผล กรรมการบริหาร นางจารุดา พันธุเสน รองประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ และนายสมคิด รัตนประภาพร รองประธานคณะ Supply Chain Security ร่วมให้การต้อนรับและหารือกับ H.E. Mr. Remco Van Wijngaarden เอกอัครราชทูตราชอาณาจักรเนเธอร์แลนด์ประจำประเทศไทยและคณะ ณ ห้องประชุม CP (1010) ส.อ.ท.
ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้มีการหารือและแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นในประเด็นด้านเศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทย ซึ่ง ส.อ.ท. ได้นำเสนอถึงความท้าทายของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในปัจจุบัน อาทิ การทะลักของสินค้าที่ไม่ได้มาตรฐาน การปรับขึ้นค่าแรงขั้นต่ำ และต้นทุนการผลิต รวมทั้งแนวทางการปรับตัวและสนับสนุนอุตสาหกรรมของ ส.อ.ท. ในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจอุตสาหกรรมปัจจุบัน ซึ่งจะส่งผลกับความเชื่อมั่นของนักลงทุนต่างชาติและภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในอนาคต
On October 22, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Thiennukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Dr. Pahol Nilsubwanna Leelaratsamee, Vice Chairman, Mr. Pipob Chokwatana, Executive Director, Dr. Wiboon Raksasnesharnpol, Executive Director, Mrs. Jaruda Phansusen, Vice Chairman of the Automotive Industry Group, and Mr. Somkid Rattanapraporn, Vice Chairman of the Supply Chain Security Committee, welcomed and discussed with H.E. Mr. Remco Van Wijngaarden, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Thailand and his delegation at the CP Meeting Room (1010), FTI.
The two sides discussed and exchanged views on various economic issues concerning Thailand. The FTI presented the challenges faced by the Thai industrial sector today, such as the influx of substandard goods, the rise in minimum wages, and production costs, along with FTI's strategies for adaptation and support to drive the current industrial economy, which will impact the confidence of foreign investors and the Thai industrial sector in the future.
