เมื่อวันที่ 27 กันยายน 2567 นายธีระ กิตติธีรพรชัย รองเลขาธิการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมเป็นวิทยากรในงาน World Business Forum: Riding Global Trend จัดโดย ASEAN Legal Alliance และ Warwick Legal Network โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ฯพณฯ ชวน หลีกภัย อดีตนายกรัฐมนตรี กล่าวเปิดงาน ณ โรงแรมพูลแมน คิงพาวเวอร์ ถนนรางน้ำ
นายธีระ ได้ร่วมเสวนาในหัวข้อ Thailand Springboard to Global Markets ร่วมกับ ดร.พรชัย ด่านวิวัฒน์ จาก Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) นายธนกฤต เหลืองอาสนะทิพย์ ผู้แทนกรมเจรจาการค้าระหว่างประเทศ และนางสาวพร้อมบุณย์ สุขทัพภ์ Partner - Blumenthal Richter & Sumet โดยมีนางสาวศิริพร ไชยสุต อดีตผู้บริหาร Chevron และนายกสมาคมบัณฑิตสตรีทางกฎหมายแห่งประเทศไทยในพระบรมราชินูปถัมภ์ เป็นผู้ดำเนินรายการ โดยนายธีระ ได้กล่าวถึงบทบาทของ ส.อ.ท. ในการสนับสนุนการลงทุนจากประเทศไทยไปยังต่างประเทศ การใช้นโยบาย 4 Go (Go digital and AI, Go innovation, Go global, Go green) ในการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพของผู้ประกอบการไทยในการแข่งขันกับต่างประเทศ รวมถึงการเพิ่มโอกาสและความสามารถในการแข่งขันด้วยการร่วมทุนกับต่างชาติ ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นสิ่งสำคัญอย่างมากสำหรับผู้ประกอบการ SMEs
งานประชุมสัมมนาในปีนี้เป็นครั้งแรกที่ ASEAN Legal Alliance เลือกประเทศไทยเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดประชุม ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยเครือข่ายทนายความ นักกฏหมาย (Lawyers) ชั้นนำในภูมิภาคเกือบ 200 รายมารวมตัวเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนแนวคิด ข้อมูลธุรกิจการทำธุรกิจ (Doing of Business) เกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมธุรกิจไทยให้ขยายสู่ตลาดโลกอีกด้วย
On September 27, 2024, Mr. Thira Kittitheerapornchai, Deputy Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated as a speaker at the World Business Forum: Riding Global Trend organized by ASEAN Legal Alliance and Warwick Legal Network. The event was honored by the presence of former Prime Minister Mr. Chuan Leekpai, who delivered the opening remarks at Pullman King Power Hotel, Rangnam Road.
Mr. Thira participated in a panel discussion on the topic "Thailand Springboard to Global Markets" alongside Dr. Pornchai Danviwat from the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD), Mr. Thanakrit Lueangasanatip, representative from the Department of International Trade Negotiations, and Ms. Promboon Sukthap, Partner at Blumenthal Richter & Sumet. The session was moderated by Ms. Siriporn Chaisut, a former executive at Chevron and President of the Thai Women's Law Association under the Royal Patronage. During the discussion, Mr. Thira addressed the role of the FTI in supporting investments from Thailand to abroad, the implementation of the 4 Go policy (Go digital and AI, Go innovation, Go global, Go green) to enhance and develop the capabilities of Thai entrepreneurs in competing internationally, and the importance of joint ventures with foreign partners, which is crucial for SMEs.
This year's seminar is the first time that ASEAN Legal Alliance has chosen Thailand as the host country for the conference, which is filled with nearly 200 leading lawyers and legal professionals from the region coming together to exchange ideas and business information regarding the promotion of Thai businesses to expand into global markets.
