เมื่อศุกร์วันที่ 27 กันยายน 2567 นายสุริยนต์ ตู้จินดา ประธานคณะกรรมการการค้าชายแดนและผ่านแดน สายงานอาเซียนและโลจิสติกส์ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับเกียรติเข้าร่วมเป็นวิทยากรงานสัมมนาในหัวข้อ "ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจ: การพัฒนาความเชื่อมโยงและอนาคตของประเทศไทย" ภายใต้ โครงการการพัฒนาระเบียงเศรษฐกิจภูมิภาคเพื่อสร้างไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ระยะที่ 2 ณ โรงแรม เดอะ สุโกศล กรุงเทพฯ
งานสัมมนาครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นโดยสถาบันวิจัยและให้คำปรึกษาแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ภายใต้แผนงาน "การพัฒนาระเบียงเศรษฐกิจพิเศษและยกระดับความมั่นคงและคุณภาพชีวิตเมืองชายแดน"
การสัมมนาครั้งนี้ มีเป้าหมายที่จะสร้างความตระหนักรู้ สร้างความร่วมมือและกระตุ้นให้เกิดการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนของระเบียงเศรษฐกิจในประเทศไทย เพื่อให้ประเทศไทยบรรลุเป้าหมายในการเป็นศูนย์กลางแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้
งานดังกล่าว มีหน่วยงานภาครัฐและหน่วยงานการศึกษาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนาพื้นที่ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจ มาร่วมแสดงความคิดเห็น และข้อเสนอแนะที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการดำเนินโครงการวิจัยและพัฒนานโยบายที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยภายในงาน ส.อ.ท. ได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในการพัฒนาพื้นที่การค้าชายแดน การเตรียมความพร้อมเชื่อมโยงโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน การผลักดันศูนย์เปลี่ยนถ่ายหรือศูนย์กระจายสินค้าเป็นรูปแบบของ One Stop Service ซึ่งการทำงานร่วมกันระหว่างภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน จะเป็นตัวขับเคลื่อนสำคัญในการส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุนในพื้นที่ระเบียงเศรษฐกิจได้ต่อไป
On Friday, September 27, 2024, Mr. Suriyont Tuajinda, Chairman of the Border Trade and Cross-Border Committee, ASEAN and Logistics Division, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), was honored to participate as a speaker at the seminar on the topic "Economic Corridor: Developing Connectivity and the Future of Thailand," under the regional economic corridor development project to establish Thailand as the hub of Southeast Asia, Phase 2, held at the Sukosol Hotel, Bangkok.
This seminar was organized by the Research Institute and Consulting of Thammasat University, under the program "Development of Special Economic Corridors and Enhancement of Security and Quality of Life in Border Areas."
The seminar aimed to raise awareness, foster cooperation, and stimulate sustainable development of economic corridors in Thailand, so that Thailand can achieve its goal of becoming the hub of Southeast Asia.
The event included participation from government agencies and educational institutions involved in the development of economic corridor areas, providing opinions and suggestions beneficial to the implementation of related research projects and policy development. During the event, FTI exchanged views on the development of border trade areas, preparedness for infrastructure connectivity, and pushing for transfer centers or distribution centers in the form of One Stop Service, whereby collaboration between the public and private sectors will be a key driver in promoting trade and investment in the economic corridor areas moving forward.
