เมื่อวันที่ 26 กันยายน 2567 นายจารุเดช คุณะดิลก ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมผู้ผลิตเครื่องมือแพทย์ พร้อมด้วย ดร. ภก. ณัฐพศุตม์ ภัทธิราสินสิริ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ ภก. สุรชัย เรืองสุขศิลป์ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยา และนายนาคาญ์ ทวิชาวัฒน์ ประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมผลิตภัณฑ์เสริมอาหาร สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมรับประทานอาหารเย็นกับนางสาวภัทรัตน์ หงษ์ทอง เอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงนิวเดลี นายนาเกช ซิงห์ เอกอัครราชทูตอินเดียประจำประเทศไทย และคณะนักธุรกิจในอุตสาหกรรมยา เวชภัณฑ์และเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ เนื่องในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทย เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือด้านอุตสาหกรรม ณ ร้านอาหารอินดัส (Indus) สุขุมวิท 26 กรุงเทพฯ
การหารือครั้งนี้ มุ่งเน้นเรื่องโอกาสในการลงทุนด้านอุตสาหกรรมยา เวชภัณฑ์ วัคซีนและเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ ซึ่งตลาดอินเดียเป็นตลาดที่ใหญ่และมีศักยภาพ และนับเป็นศูนย์กลางในการผลิตยาที่ใหญ่ที่สุด โดยปัจจุบัน อินเดียเป็นประเทศที่มีอัตราการผลิตยาสูงสุดเป็นอันดับ 3 ของโลกและเป็นผู้ผลิตยาสามัญรายใหญ่ที่สุดของโลกอีกด้วย

Natthapassut Patthirasinsiri, Chairman of the Biotechnology Industry Group, Mr. Surachai Rungsuksilp, Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Industry Group, and Mr. Nakhan Tiwichawat, Chairman of the Food Supplement Products Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), attended a dinner with Ms. Phatarat Hongsathorn, Thai Ambassador to New Delhi, Mr. Nagesh Singh, Indian Ambassador to Thailand, and a group of businesspeople in the pharmaceutical, medical supplies, and biotechnology sectors, on the occasion of their visit to Thailand to discuss collaborations in the industry at Indus Restaurant, Sukhumvit 26, Bangkok.
This discussion focused on investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, medical supplies, vaccines, and biotechnology, highlighting that the Indian market is large and has significant potential, being one of the largest production centers for pharmaceuticals. Currently, India ranks third in the world in pharmaceutical production and is the largest producer of generic medicines globally.
