นายศุภรัตน์ ศิริสุวรรณางกูร และนายสุรพงษ์ ไพสิฐพัฒนพงษ์ แห่ง ส.อ.ท. เปิดเผยว่าการผลิต รถยนต์ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ลดลงร้อยละ 20.56 สู่ 119,680 คัน ยอดขายลดลงร้อยละ 24.98 และการส่งออกลดลง 1.70% เนื่องจากการเข้มงวดในการปล่อยสินเชื่อส่งผ⁠ล⁠ก⁠ร⁠ะ⁠ท⁠บต่ออุตสาหกรรม.Mr. Supharat Srisuwanankul and Mr. Surapong Paisithapanpong from the FTI reported that in August 2024, car production decreased by 20.56% to 119,680 units, domestic sales dropped by 24.98%, and exports fell by 1.70%, attributed to strict lending policies affecting the automotive industry.

นายสุรพงษ์ ไพสิฐพัฒนพงษ์  ที่ปรึกษาประธานกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์และโฆษกกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์  สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เปิดเผยจำนวนการผลิต ยอดขายภายในประเทศ และการส่งออกรถยนต์และรถจักรยานยนต์ของประเทศ ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ดังต่อไปนี้

 

การผลิต
จำนวนรถยนต์ทั้งหมดที่ผลิตได้ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2567 มีทั้งสิ้น 119,680 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 20.56 เพราะผลิตเพื่อขายในประเทศและผลิตเพื่อส่งออกลดลงร้อยละ 40.49 และ 6.62 ตามลำดับจากการผลิตรถกระบะลดลง และลดลงจากเดือนกรกฎาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 4.12 
จำนวนรถยนต์ที่ผลิตได้ในเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 1,005,749 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 17.69
รถยนต์นั่ง เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 46,765 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 8.84 โดยแบ่งเป็น
•รถยนต์นั่ง Internal Combustion Engine มีจำนวน 31,909 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 15.26
•รถยนต์นั่ง Battery Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 352 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 17,500
•รถยนต์นั่ง Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 452 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 30.57
•รถยนต์นั่ง Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 14,052 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 8.18

 

ยอดผลิตของรถยนต์นั่ง ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 มีจำนวน 376,034 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 37.39 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 11.09 โดยแบ่งเป็น
•รถยนต์นั่ง Internal Combustion Engine มีจำนวน 241,480 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 26.90
•รถยนต์นั่ง Battery Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 5,857 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 3,857.43
•รถยนต์นั่ง Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 4,013 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 42.84
•รถยนต์นั่ง Hybrid Electric Vehicle มีจำนวน 124,684 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 45.94
รถยนต์โดยสารขนาดต่ำกว่า 10 ตัน และมากกว่า 10 ตัน ขึ้นไป ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ไม่มีการผลิต รวมเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 10 คัน ลดลงจากปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 89.36
รถยนต์บรรทุก เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ทั้งหมด 72,915 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 26.60 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 629,705 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 21.17
รถกระบะขนาด 1 ตัน เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ทั้งหมด 71,973 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 24.67 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 616,549 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 61.30 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 20.51 โดยแบ่งเป็น
•รถกระบะบรรทุก 97,885 คัน          ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 29.91
•รถกระบะดับเบิลแค็บ 409,451 คัน     ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 19.49
•รถกระบะ PPV 109,213 คัน        ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 14.31

 

รถบรรทุกขนาดต่ำกว่า 5 ตัน - มากกว่า 10 ตัน เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 942 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 75.26 รวมเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 13,156 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 43.28

 


ผลิตเพื่อส่งออก 
เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 82,788 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 69.17 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 6.62 ส่วนเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตเพื่อส่งออกได้ 686,509 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 68.26 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2566 ระยะเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 2.74
รถยนต์นั่ง เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตเพื่อการส่งออก 23,923 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 13.59 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตเพื่อส่งออกได้ทั้งสิ้น 201,389 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 53.56 ของยอดผลิตรถยนต์นั่ง ซึ่งเพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 4.86
รถกระบะขนาด 1 ตัน เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 มียอดการผลิตเพื่อการส่งออก 58,865 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 12.92 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตเพื่อส่งออกได้ทั้งสิ้น 485,120 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 78.68 ของยอดการผลิตรถกระบะ ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 5.58 โดยแบ่งเป็น
•รถกระบะบรรทุก 39,463 คัน        ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 25.15
•รถกระบะดับเบิลแค็บ 358,686 คัน    ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 8.42
•รถกระบะ PPV 86,971 คัน       เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม-สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 25.29

 

ผลิตเพื่อจำหน่ายในประเทศ 
เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 36,892 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 30.83 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 40.49 และเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 319,240 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 31.74 ของยอดการผลิตทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 38.13
รถยนต์นั่ง เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตเพื่อจำหน่ายในประเทศ 22,842 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 24.46 แต่ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ผลิตได้ 174,645 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 46.44 ของยอดการผลิตรถยนต์นั่ง โดยเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ลดลงร้อยละ 24.35

รถกระบะขนาด 1 ตัน เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 มียอดการผลิตเพื่อจำหน่ายในประเทศ 13,108 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 53.08 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 131,429 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 21.32 ของยอดการผลิตรถกระบะ และลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 49.81 ซึ่งแบ่งเป็น
•รถกระบะบรรทุก 58,422 คัน         ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 32.79
•รถกระบะดับเบิลแค็บ 50,765 คัน         ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 56.57
•รถกระบะ PPV 22,242 คัน          ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม-สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 61.67
รถยนต์โดยสารขนาดต่ำกว่า 10 ตัน และมากกว่า 10 ตัน ขึ้นไป ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ไม่มีการผลิต รวมเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 10 คัน ลดลงจากปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 89.36
รถบรรทุก เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ 942 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 75.26 และตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตได้ทั้งสิ้น 13,156 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 43.28

 

รถจักรยานยนต์ 
เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์ได้ทั้งสิ้น 172,064 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 7.95 แยกเป็นรถจักรยานยนต์สำเร็จรูป (CBU) 144,244 คัน ลดลงจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 15.78 แต่ชิ้นส่วนประกอบรถจักรยานยนต์ (CKD) 27,820 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 77.65
ยอดการผลิตรถจักรยานยนต์เดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2567 มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 1,548,433 คัน ลดลงจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 8.29 โดยแยกเป็นรถจักรยานยนต์สำเร็จรูป (CBU) 1,289,764 คัน ลดลงจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 12.20 แต่ชิ้นส่วนประกอบรถจักรยานยนต์ (CKD) 258,669 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 17.90

 

ยอดขาย
ยอดขายรถยนต์ภายในประเทศของเดือนสิงหาคม 2567 มีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 45,190 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนกรกฎาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 2.60 และลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 24.98 เพราะสถาบันการเงินเข้มงวดในการให้สินเชื่อจากหนี้ครัวเรือนสูงโดยหนี้เสีย (NPL) รถยนต์ ณ ไตรมาสสองของปีนี้ สูงถึง 254,484 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นร้อยละ 29.7 จากไตรมาสสองปีที่แล้วและเศรษฐกิจในประเทศที่เติบโตในอัตราต่ำที่ร้อยละ 2.3 ในไตรมาสสองของปีนี้ คาดว่าไตรมาสสุดท้ายของปีนี้จะดีขึ้นจากรัฐบาลใหม่ที่หัวหน้าพรรคเพื่อไทยเป็นนายกรัฐมนตรีซึ่งมีนโยบายหลายข้อที่จะทำให้เศรษฐกิจดีขึ้น เช่น การแจกเงินหนี่งหมื่นบาทเป็นเงินสดซึ่งจำนวนเงินกว่าหนึ่งแสนล้านบาท การแก้ใขหนี้ทั้งในระบบและนอกระบบ เป็นต้น รวมทั้งงบประมาณรายจ่ายประจำปี 2568 ก็ทันใช้ตั้งแต่เดือนตุลาคมนี้ด้วย และดัชนี ตลาดหลักทรัพย์ก็เพิ่มขึ้น ธนาคารกลางสหรัฐลดอัตราดอกเบี้ยนโยบายลงถึง 0.50 และอาจจะลดอีกครั้งในปีนี้
รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ มีจำนวน 27,754 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 61.42 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 13.02
•รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์สันดาปภายใน (ICE) 11,748 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 26 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 39.31
•รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้า (BEV) 7,302 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 16.16 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 20.44
•รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสมแบบเสียบปลั๊ก (PHEV) 93 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 0.21 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 29.01
•รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสม (HEV) 8,611 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 19.06 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 35.46
รถกระบะมีจำนวน 12,303 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 37.10 รถ PPV มีจำนวน 2,667 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 47.30 รถบรรทุก 5 – 10 ตัน มีจำนวน 1,252 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 47.35 และรถประเภทอื่นๆ มีจำนวน 1,214 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้ว 8.38

 

ส่วนรถจักรยานยนต์ มียอดขาย 131,736 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนกรกฎาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 6.94 และลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 17.73
ตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม - สิงหาคม 2567 รถยนต์มียอดขาย 399,611 คัน ลดลงจากปี 2566 ในระยะเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 23.85 แยกเป็น
รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ มีจำนวน 239,971 คันเท่ากับร้อยละ 60.05 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 9.12
•รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์สันดาปภายใน (ICE) 106,245 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 26.59 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 36.91
•รถยนต์นั่งแหละรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้า (BEV) 47,645 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 11.92 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วที่ร้อยละ 13.86
•รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสมแบบเสียบปลั๊ก (PHEV) 1,456 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 0.36 ของยอดขายทั้งหมด ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 8.14
•รถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ไฟฟ้าผสม (HEV) 84,625 คัน เท่ากับร้อยละ 21.18 ของยอดขายรถยนต์นั่งและรถยนต์นั่งตรวจการณ์ เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนเดียวกันปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 62.06
รถกระบะมีจำนวน 115,051 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 39.30 รถ PPV มีจำนวน    24,481 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 43.07 รถบรรทุก 5 – 10 ตัน มีจำนวน 10,909 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนเดียวกันในปีที่แล้วร้อยละ 38.71 และรถประเภทอื่นๆ มีจำนวน 9,199 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนช่วงกันในปีที่แล้ว   11.45
ส่วนรถจักรยานยนต์ มียอดขาย 1,163,827 คัน ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 10.81 แบ่งเป็นรถจักรยานยนต์ ICE จำนวน 1,163,627 คัน ลดลงจากช่วงเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 10.75 รถจักรยานยนต์ BEV จำนวน 200 คัน ลดลงจากช่วงเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 9.09

 

การส่งออก
รถยนต์สำเร็จรูป 
เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 ส่งออกได้ 86,066 คัน เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนที่แล้วร้อยละ 3.04 แต่ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 1.70 จากปัญหาเรื่องพื้นที่ในเดือนในเรือไม่เพียงพอและล่าช้าจากสงครามอิสราเอลกับฮามาสและปัญหาสิ่งสกปรกในท่าเรือที่ติดในรถกระบะที่เตรียมขับขึ้นเรือ จึงผลิตรถกระบะเพื่อส่งออกลดลงร้อยละ 12.92 และส่งออกลดลงในตลาดออสเตรเลีย แอฟริกา ยุโรป แบ่งเป็น
•รถกระบะ 48,201 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 56 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 14.07
•รถยนต์นั่ง ICE 22,677 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 26.35 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 16.11
•รถยนต์นั่ง HEV 3,516 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 4.09 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 351.93
•รถ PPV 11,672 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 13.56 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ  4.66
มูลค่าการส่งออกรถยนต์ 60,334.04 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 0.20
•เครื่องยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 3,467.66 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 3.62
•ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์อื่นๆ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 16,765.92 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 2.69
•อะไหล่รถยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 2,333.89 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 7.07
รวมมูลค่าส่งออกรถยนต์เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 เครื่องยนต์ ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์ และอะไหล่ มีมูลค่า 82,901.51 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 0.71
เดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2567 ส่งออกรถยนต์สำเร็จรูป 688,633 คัน ลดลงจากช่วงระยะเวลาเดียวกันร้อยละ 4.94 แบ่งเป็น
•รถกระบะ ICE 394,046 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 57.23 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 8.76
•รถยนต์นั่ง ICE 169,126 คัน มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 24.55 ของการส่งออกทั้งหมด ลดลงจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 18.34

•เครื่องยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 23,447.72 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 5.51
•ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์อื่นๆ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 128,985.48 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 7.07
•อะไหล่รถยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออก 17,442.63 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 11.52
รวมมูลค่าส่งออกรถยนต์เดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2567 เครื่องยนต์ ชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์ และอะไหล่ มีมูลค่า 650,082.14 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 5.21

 

รถจักรยานยนต์
เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 มีจำนวนส่งออก 58,468 คัน (รวม CBU + CKD) ลดลงจากเดือนกรกฎาคม 2567 ร้อยละ 0.49 แต่เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 19.91 โดยมีมูลค่า 4,329.64 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 4.65
•ชิ้นส่วนรถจักรยานยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออกทั้งสิ้น 219.76 ล้านบาท ลดลงจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 3.92
•อะไหล่รถจักรยานยนต์ มีมูลค่าการส่งออกทั้งสิ้น 260.27 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากเดือนสิงหาคม 2566 ร้อยละ 29.53

เดือนสิงหาคม 2567 รวมมูลค่าการส่งออกรถยนต์สำเร็จรูป เครื่องยนต์ ชิ้นส่วนอื่น ๆ อะไหล่รถยนต์ รถจักรยานยนต์ ชิ้นส่วน และอะไหล่รถจักรยานยนต์ มีทั้งสิ้น 87,711.18 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ0.48
เดือนมกราคม – สิงหาคม 2567 รวมมูลค่าการส่งออกรถยนต์สำเร็จรูป เครื่องยนต์ ชิ้นส่วนอื่นๆ อะไหล่รถยนต์ รถจักรยานยนต์ ชิ้นส่วน และอะไหล่รถจักรยานยนต์ มีทั้งสิ้น 694,708.95 ล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้นจากปี 2566 ร้อยละ 4.08

On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, Mr. Supharat Srisuwanangoon, Honorary Chairman of the Automotive Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and Mr. Surapong Paisitpatthanapong, Advisor to the Chairman of the Automotive Industry Group and Spokesperson for the Automotive Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), announced the production, domestic sales, and exports of automobiles and motorcycles for the country in August 2024. The total production of automobiles was 119,680 units, a decline of 20.56 percent, with domestic sales at 45,190 units, down 24.98 percent, and exports at 86,066 units, a decrease of 1.70 percent.

 

Mr. Surapong Paisitpatthanapong, Advisor to the Chairman of the Automotive Industry Group and Spokesperson for the Automotive Industry Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), provided further details on the production, domestic sales, and exports of automobiles and motorcycles during August 2024 as follows:

 

Production
The total number of automobiles produced in August 2024 was 119,680 units, a decrease of 20.56 percent from August 2023, due to a decline of 40.49 percent in production for domestic sales and a 6.62 percent drop in production for exports, attributed to a decrease in pickup truck production, and a reduction of 4.12 percent compared to July 2024.
The total number of automobiles produced from January to August 2024 was 1,005,749 units, a decline of 17.69 percent compared to the same period in 2023.
Passenger cars produced in August 2024 amounted to 46,765 units, down 8.84 percent from August 2023, categorized as follows:
• Internal Combustion Engine passenger cars: 31,909 units, a decrease of 15.26 percent from August 2023.
• Battery Electric Vehicle passenger cars: 352 units, an increase of 17,500 percent from August 2023.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle passenger cars: 452 units, down 30.57 percent from August 2023.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle passenger cars: 14,052 units, an increase of 8.18 percent from August 2023.

 

The total production of passenger cars from January to August 2024 was 376,034 units, accounting for 37.39 percent of the total production, a decline of 11.09 percent from the same period in 2023, classified as follows:
• Internal Combustion Engine passenger cars: 241,480 units, down 26.90 percent from January to August 2023.
• Battery Electric Vehicle passenger cars: 5,857 units, an increase of 3,857.43 percent from January to August 2023.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle passenger cars: 4,013 units, down 42.84 percent from January to August 2023.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle passenger cars: 124,684 units, an increase of 45.94 percent from January to August 2023.
Light and heavy-duty buses produced in August 2024 were zero, with a total of 10 units produced from January to August 2024, down 89.36 percent from last year.
Trucks produced in August 2024 totaled 72,915 units, a decline of 26.60 percent from August 2023, and from January to August 2024, a total of 629,705 units were produced, a decrease of 21.17 percent compared to January to August 2023.
The production of 1-ton pickup trucks in August 2024 was 71,973 units, a decrease of 24.67 percent from August 2023. From January to August 2024, a total of 616,549 units were produced, accounting for 61.30 percent of total production, which is a decline of 20.51 percent compared to the same period in 2023, classified as follows:
• Regular pickup trucks: 97,885 units, down 29.91 percent from January to August 2023.
• Double cab pickup trucks: 409,451 units, down 19.49 percent from January to August 2023.
• PPV pickup trucks: 109,213 units, down 14.31 percent from January to August 2023.

 

Trucks weighing below 5 tons and above 10 tons produced in August 2024 totaled 942 units, down 75.26 percent from August 2023. From January to August 2024, a total of 13,156 units were produced, a decrease of 43.28 percent compared to January to August 2023.

 


Exports
In August 2024, 82,788 units were produced for export, accounting for 69.17 percent of total production, a decrease of 6.62 percent from August 2023. From January to August 2024, a total of 686,509 units were produced for export, accounting for 68.26 percent of total production, which is a decline of 2.74 percent compared to the same period last year.
Passenger cars produced for export in August 2024 numbered 23,923 units, an increase of 13.59 percent from August 2023, while from January to August 2024, a total of 201,389 units were produced for export, accounting for 53.56 percent of total passenger car production, which is an increase of 4.86 percent from January to August 2023.
Production of 1-ton pickup trucks for export in August 2024 was 58,865 units, down 12.92 percent from August 2023. From January to August 2024, a total of 485,120 units were produced for export, accounting for 78.68 percent of total pickup truck production, which is a decline of 5.58 percent from January to August 2023, classified as follows:
• Regular pickup trucks: 39,463 units, a decrease of 25.15 percent from January to August 2023.
• Double cab pickup trucks: 358,686 units, down 8.42 percent from January to August 2023.

Production for Domestic Sale
In August 2024, production for the domestic market was 36,892 units, accounting for 30.83 percent of total production, representing a decline of 40.49 percent from August 2023, while from January to August 2024, the total was 319,240 units, equating to 31.74 percent of total production, a decrease of 38.13 percent compared to January to August 2023.
Passenger cars produced for domestic sales in August 2024 totaled 22,842 units, a decrease of 24.46 percent from August 2023. However, from January to August 2024, a total of 174,645 units were produced for domestic sales, accounting for 46.44 percent of total passenger car production, down 24.35 percent from January to August 2023.

Production of 1-ton pickup trucks for domestic sales in August 2024 was 13,108 units, a decline of 53.08 percent from August 2023, while from January to August 2024, total production was 131,429 units, accounting for 21.32 percent of total pickup truck production, down 49.81 percent from January to August 2023, classified as follows:
• Regular pickup trucks: 58,422 units, down 32.79 percent from January to August 2023.
• Double cab pickup trucks: 50,765 units, down 56.57 percent from January to August 2023.
• PPV pickup trucks: 22,242 units, down 61.67 percent from January to August 2023. Light and heavy-duty buses produced in August 2024 were zero; cumulatively, from January to August 2024, a total of 10 units were produced, down 89.36 percent from last year.
The truck production in August 2024 totaled 942 units, down 75.26 percent from August 2023, while from January to August 2024, a total of 13,156 units were produced, a decline of 43.28 percent from January to August 2023.

 

Motorcycles
In August 2024, a total of 172,064 motorcycles were produced, a decrease of 7.95 percent from August 2023, categorized as follows: complete motorcycles (CBU) totaled 144,244 units, down 15.78 percent from last year, while motorcycle components (CKD) totaled 27,820 units, an increase of 77.65 percent from last year.
The total motorcycle production from January to August 2024 amounted to 1,548,433 units, down 8.29 percent from last year, categorized as complete motorcycles (CBU) 1,289,764 units, down 12.20 percent from last year, while motorcycle components (CKD) totaled 258,669 units, an increase of 17.90 percent from last year.

 

Sales
The total domestic sales of automobiles in August 2024 reached 45,190 units, a decrease of 2.60 percent from July 2024 and a decline of 24.98 percent compared to the same month last year, prompted by stricter credit provisions from financial institutions amid high household debt, with non-performing loans (NPL) for automobiles at 254.484 billion Baht in the second quarter this year, an increase of 29.7 percent from the second quarter of last year, and domestic economic growth faltering at a rate of 2.3 percent in the second quarter of this year. However, there are expectations for improvement in the last quarter of this year due to the new government led by the leader of the Pheu Thai Party as prime minister, which has several policies aimed at boosting the economy, such as cash handouts of 10,000 Baht, amounting to over 100 billion Baht, and resolutions for both formal and informal debt systems. Additionally, the annual budget for fiscal year 2025 will be available starting this October, and the stock market index has risen, as the U.S. Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 0.50 and may further reduce rates this year.
Passenger cars and SUVs accounted for 27,754 units, equivalent to 61.42 percent of total sales, a decrease of 13.02 percent compared to the same month last year:
• Passenger cars with Internal Combustion Engine (ICE): 11,748 units, accounting for 26 percent of total sales, down from the same month last year by 39.31 percent.
• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger cars: 7,302 units, accounting for 16.16 percent of total sales, up from the same month last year by 20.44 percent.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) passenger cars: 93 units, accounting for 0.21 percent of total sales, down from the same month last year by 29.01 percent.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) passenger cars: 8,611 units, accounting for 19.06 percent of total sales, an increase from the same month last year by 35.46 percent.
Total pickup truck sales reached 12,303 units, down 37.10 percent compared to the same month last year, and PPVs totaled 2,667 units, down 47.30 percent from the same month last year. Trucks weighing 5-10 tons totaled 1,252 units, down 47.35 percent from the same month last year, while other types amounted to 1,214 units, down 8.38 percent from the same month last year.

 

Motorcycle sales totaled 131,736 units, down 6.94 percent from July 2024 and down 17.73 percent from August 2023.
From January to August 2024, total car sales reached 399,611 units, a decrease of 23.85 percent from the same period in 2023, classified as follows:
Passenger cars and SUVs totaled 239,971 units, accounting for 60.05 percent of total sales, down from the same month last year by 9.12 percent:
• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) passenger cars and SUVs: 106,245 units, accounting for 26.59 percent of total sales, down from the same month last year by 36.91 percent.
• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) passenger cars and SUVs: 47,645 units, accounting for 11.92 percent of total sales, up from the same month last year by 13.86 percent.
• Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) passenger cars and SUVs: 1,456 units, accounting for 0.36 percent of total sales, down from the same month last year by 8.14 percent.
• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) passenger cars and SUVs: 84,625 units, accounting for 21.18 percent of passenger car and SUV sales, up from the same month last year by 62.06 percent.
Total pickup truck sales numbered 115,051 units, down from the same month last year by 39.30 percent. PPV sales reached 24,481 units, a reduction of 43.07 percent from the same month last year, while trucks weighing 5-10 tons totaled 10,909 units, down 38.71 percent from the same month last year. Other types amounted to 9,199 units, down 11.45 percent compared to the same month last year.
Motorcycle sales totaled 1,163,827 units, down 10.81 percent from January to August 2023, comprising 1,163,627 units of ICE motorcycles, down 10.75 percent from the same period last year, and 200 units of BEV motorcycles, down 9.09 percent from the same period last year.

 

Exports
In August 2024, 86,066 complete vehicles were exported, an increase of 3.04 percent from last month but down 1.70 percent from August 2023 due to shipping space shortages and delays caused by the conflict between Israel and Hamas, and congestion at the ports, where pickup trucks were unable to load onto vessels, thus reducing the production of pickup trucks for export by 12.92 percent and decreasing exports to Australia, Africa, and Europe, categorized as follows:
• Pickup trucks: 48,201 units accounted for 56 percent of total exports, down 14.07 percent from 2023.
• ICE passenger cars: 22,677 units accounted for 26.35 percent of total exports, up 16.11 percent from 2023.
• HEV passenger cars: 3,516 units accounted for 4.09 percent of total exports, up 351.93 percent from 2023.
• PPVs: 11,672 units accounted for 13.56 percent of total exports, a decrease of 4.66 percent from 2023.
The value of automobile exports reached 60,334.04 million Baht, an increase of 0.20 percent from August 2023.
• Engines had an export value of 3,467.66 million Baht, a decrease of 3.62 percent from August 2023.
• Other automobile components had an export value of 16,765.92 million Baht, an increase of 2.69 percent from August 2023.
• Automotive spare parts had an export value of 2,333.89 million Baht, an increase of 7.07 percent from August 2023.
The total value of automobile exports in August 2024 for complete vehicles, engines, components, and spare parts amounted to 82,901.51 million Baht, reflecting a 0.71 percent increase from August 2023. For the period from January to August 2024, 688,633 complete vehicles were exported, a decrease of 4.94 percent compared to the same period last year, classified as follows:
• ICE pickup trucks: 394,046 units, accounting for 57.23 percent of total exports, down 8.76 percent from 2023.
• ICE passenger cars: 169,126 units, accounting for 24.55 percent of total exports, down 18.34 percent from 2023.
• HEV passenger cars: 34,712 units, accounting for 5.04 percent of total exports, an increase of 472.71 percent from 2023.
• PPVs: 90,749 units, accounting for 13.18 percent of total exports, an increase of 14.37 percent from 2023.

 

The total value of automobile exports reached 480,206.30 million Baht, up by 5.08 percent in comparison to January-August 2023, with the following details:
• Engines had an export value of 23,447.72 million Baht, down 5.51 percent from January-August 2023.
• Other automobile components had an export value of 128,985.48 million Baht, up 7.07 percent from January-August 2023.
• Automotive spare parts had an export value of 17,442.63 million Baht, up 11.52 percent from January-August 2023.
The total value of automobile exports for complete vehicles, engines, components, and spare parts from January to August 2024 reached 650,082.14 million Baht, reflecting a 5.21 percent increase from January-August 2023.

 

Motorcycles
In August 2024, 58,468 units of motorcycles (including CBU + CKD) were exported, a decrease of 0.49 percent from July 2024, but an increase of 19.91 percent from August 2023, with a value of 4,329.64 million Baht, down 4.65 percent from August 2023.
• Motorcycle components had an export value totaling 219.76 million Baht, down 3.92 percent from August 2023.
• Motorcycle spare parts had an export value totaling 260.27 million Baht, an increase of 29.53 percent from August 2023.

 

The total value of motorcycle exports in August 2024 for components and spare parts amounted to 4,809.68 million Baht, a decrease of 3.23 percent from August 2023. From January to August 2024, motorcycles had a total export count of 531,543 units (including CBU + CKD), down 1.68 percent from 2023, with an export value of 41,684.24 million Baht, down 9.56 percent from 2023.
• Motorcycle components had an export value totaling 1,670.47 million Baht, down 18.61 percent from 2023.
• Motorcycle spare parts had an export value totaling 1,272.10 million Baht, down 12.61 percent from 2023.
The total export value for motorcycles, components, and spare parts from January to August 2024 amounted to 44,626.81 million Baht, a decrease of 10.03 percent from January to August 2023.

 

New BEV registrations in August 2024 amounted to 8,804 units, decreasing by 3 percent compared to the previous year, categorized as follows:
• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 6,376 units, down by 3.67 percent from August 2023.
o Passenger cars: 6,211 units
o Light passenger vehicles (max 7 persons): 162 units
o Tourist service cars: 3 units
• Pickup trucks and vans totaled 233 units, an increase of 762.96 percent from August 2023.
• Three-wheeled passenger vehicles totaled 48 units, a decrease of 100 percent compared to August 2023.
o Private three-wheelers: 9 units
o Public passenger three-wheelers: 39 units
• Motorcycles totaled 2,091 units, down from August 2023 by 12.07 percent.
o Private motorcycles: 2,090 units
o Public motorcycles: 1 unit.

 

From January to August 2024, the total new registrations of BEVs reached 69,047 units, an increase of 17.34 percent compared to the same period in 2023, categorized as follows:
• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 49,642 units, an increase of 14.52 percent compared to January-August 2023.
o Passenger cars: 48,204 units
o Light passenger vehicles (max 7 persons): 1,370 units
o Business service cars: 8 units
o Tourist service cars: 57 units
o Rental service cars: 3 units
• Pickup trucks and vans totaled 491 units, an increase of 439.56 percent from January-August 2023.
• Three-wheeled passenger vehicles totaled 135 units, down 42.80 percent from January-August 2023.
o Private three-wheelers: 32 units
o Public passenger three-wheelers: 103 units
• Motorcycles totaled 18,237 units, an increase of 30.35 percent from January-August 2023.
o Private motorcycles: 18,129 units
o Public motorcycles: 108 units.

 

New HEV registrations in August 2024 totaled 11,000 units, an increase of 54.80 percent compared to August last year, categorized as follows:
• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 10,932 units, up by 55.31 percent from August 2023.
o Passenger cars: 10,917 units
o Light passenger vehicles (max 7 persons): 6 units
o Business service cars: 2 units
o Tourist service cars: 7 units.

 

From January to August 2024, the total new registrations of HEVs reached 94,794 units, an increase of 60.14 percent compared to the same period last year, categorized as follows:
• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 94,406 units, an increase of 60.67 percent from January to August 2023.
o Passenger cars: 94,317 units
o Light passenger vehicles (max 7 persons): 23 units
o Business service cars: 17 units
o Tourist service cars: 46 units
o Rental service cars: 5 units.

 

New PHEV registrations in August 2024 totaled 854 units, a decrease of 32.70 percent compared to August last year, categorized as:
• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 854 units, down from August 2023 by 32.70 percent.
o Passenger cars: 854 units.

 

From January to August 2024, the total new registrations of PHEVs reached 6,576 units, down by 22.80 percent from the same period last year, categorized as:
• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 6,576 units, down from January to August 2023 by 22.80 percent.
o Passenger cars: 6,569 units.
o Tourist service cars: 7 units.

 

Total BEV registrations as of August 31, 2024, reached 200,109 units, an increase of 120.13 percent from last year, categorized as follows:
• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 139,059 units, up 143.78 percent from the same period last year.
o Passenger cars: 136,574 units, up 141.35 percent from the same period last year.
o Light passenger vehicles (max 7 persons): 1,983 units, up 504.57 percent from the same period last year.
o Business service cars: 74 units, up 270 percent from the same period last year.
o Tourist service cars: 128 units, up 393.33 percent from the same period last year.
o Rental service cars: 3 units; no registrations during the same period last year.
o Electronically dispatched vehicles: 297 units, up 219.35 percent from the same period last year.
• Pickup trucks and vans totaled 769 units, up 409.27 percent from the same period last year.
• Three-wheeled passenger vehicles totaled 1,019 units, up 42.92 percent from the same period last year.
o Private three-wheelers: 114 units, up 50 percent from the same period last year.
o Public passenger three-wheelers: 905 units, up 42.07 percent from the same period last year.
• Motorcycles totaled 55,998 units, up 84.20 percent from the same period last year.
o Private motorcycles: 55,871 units, up 84.54 percent from the same period last year.
o Public motorcycles: 127 units, up 1.60 percent from the same period last year.
• Others
o Buses totaled 2,654 units, up 13.08 percent from the same period last year.
o Trucks totaled 610 units, up 143.03 percent from the same period last year.

 

Total HEV registrations as of August 31, 2024, reached 437,504 units, reflecting an increase of 37.53 percent from last year, categorized as follows:


• Passenger cars and other types of vehicles totaled 428,223 units, an increase of 38.58 percent from the same period last year.
o Passenger cars: 427,271 units, up 38.60 percent from the same period last year.
o Passenger transport vehicles: 496 units, up 3.55 percent from the same period last year.
o Business service cars: 73 units, up 73.81 percent from the same period last year.
o Tourist service cars: 202 units, up 78.76 percent from the same period last year.
o Rental service cars: 5 units, same as the same period last year.


• Pickup trucks and vans totaled 1 unit, unchanged from the same period last year.
• Motorcycles totaled 9,278 units, up 1.84 percent from the same period last year.
o Private motorcycles: 9,278 units, up 1.84 percent from the same period last year.

• Others
o Buses totaled 2 units, unchanged from the same period last year.
