เมื่อวันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วย นายสมบูรณ์ พิทยรังสฤษฎ์ รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. นายธีระพล ติรวศิน รองประธาน ส.อ.ท. และนายดอน ทยาทาน กรรมการ ส.อ.ท. ให้การต้อนรับคณะผู้บริหารจาก บริษัท บีแอลซีพี เพาเวอร์ จำกัด (BLCP) นำโดย นายยุทธนา เจริญวงศ์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ BLCP และนางพงษธนา นิโรภาส ที่ปรึกษา BLCP เนื่องในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งประธาน ส.อ.ท. วาระปี 2569–2571 ณ ห้องประชุม 801 WHA GROUP
ในการหารือ BLCP ได้นำเสนอแนวทางการขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนผ่านด้านพลังงานของประเทศ โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการผลักดันเทคโนโลยี Small Modular Reactor (SMR) ซึ่งเป็นเทคโนโลยีพลังงานนิวเคลียร์ขนาดเล็กที่มีความปลอดภัยสูง เพื่อเป็นทางเลือกในการผลิตพลังงานสะอาด ลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก และสนับสนุนเป้าหมายการบรรลุการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) ของประเทศไทย พร้อมทั้งเตรียมความพร้อมด้านพื้นที่รองรับการพัฒนาการผลิตไฟฟ้าในอนาคตให้สอดคล้องกับแผนพัฒนากำลังผลิตไฟฟ้า (Power Development Plan: PDP) และมาตรฐานสากล เพื่อดึงดูดการลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต โดยเฉพาะกลุ่ม Data Center ที่มีความต้องการใช้ไฟฟ้าปริมาณสูงและมีเสถียรภาพ รวมถึงการพัฒนากลไกการทำสัญญาซื้อขายพลังงานไฟฟ้าโดยตรงระหว่างผู้ผลิตพลังงานกับผู้ใช้พลังงาน (Direct PPA) เพื่อเพิ่มความมั่นคงด้านพลังงานและเสริมขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศไทย
นางพิมพ์ใจ เห็นว่า ทิศทางการพัฒนาดังกล่าวสอดคล้องกับนโยบาย 5I ของ ส.อ.ท. ได้แก่ I4: INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE REFORM ปรับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อการแข่งขัน ด้วยการนำเทคโนโลยีพลังงานแห่งอนาคต เข้ามาเป็นปัจจัยเอื้อต่อการลงทุนของภาคอุตสาหกรรม และ I5: INCLUSIVE SUSTAINABILITY ความยั่งยืนสิ่งแวดล้อมสังคม และธรรมาภิบาล ด้วยการส่งเสริมการใช้พลังงานสะอาดที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม เข้ามาเป็นจุดแข็งในการเสริมสร้างความสามารถในการแข่งขันของภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยในระยะยาว
ทั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. พร้อมสนับสนุนและบูรณาการความร่วมมือกับทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้เติบโตอย่างเข้มแข็งและยั่งยืน
On June 26, 2026, Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, Chairwoman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Mr. Sombun Pithayrasrisak, FTI Vice Chairman, Mr. Theerapol Tirawathin, FTI Vice Chairman, and Mr. Don Taya-than, FTI Board Member, welcomed the management team from BLCP Power Company Limited (BLCP), led by Mr. Yuthana Charoenwong, Managing Director of BLCP, and Ms. Pongthana Niropas, Consultant of BLCP, on the occasion of expressing congratulations on assuming the position of Chairwoman of FTI for the term 2026–2028 at Meeting Room 801, WHA GROUP.
During the discussion, BLCP presented its approach to driving the energy transition in the country, emphasizing the promotion of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology, which is a highly safe small nuclear energy technology, as an option for clean energy production. This technology aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support Thailand's goal of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions, while also preparing suitable areas for future electricity generation development in line with the Power Development Plan (PDP) and international standards to attract investment in future industries, particularly for the high and stable electricity demand Data Center sector. Additionally, it included the development of mechanisms for direct power purchase agreements (Direct PPA) between energy producers and energy users to enhance energy security and strengthen Thailand's competitive capabilities.
Ms. Pimjai noted that this development direction aligns with the 5I policy of FTI, which includes I4: INDUSTRIAL INFRASTRUCTURE REFORM, restructuring industrial infrastructure for competitiveness by introducing future energy technologies as factors facilitating industrial investment, and I5: INCLUSIVE SUSTAINABILITY, promoting environmental sustainability and good governance by encouraging the use of environmentally friendly clean energy as a strength to enhance the competitive capabilities of Thai industries in the long term.
FTI is ready to support and integrate cooperation with all sectors to drive the development of Thai industries towards robust and sustainable growth.
