เมื่อวันพุธที่ 18 กันยายน 2567 นายอรุณ เอี่ยมสุรีย์ ประธานสถาบันเศรษฐกิจและการลงทุนไทย-จีน (TCEII) ให้การต้อนรับนายเมียว ฮวา (Miao Hua) รองประธานสหพันธ์เศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมเซี่ยงไฮ้ คณะกรรมการเซี่ยงไฮ้แฟร์ และคณะผู้ประกอบการ ณ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.)
ในที่ประชุมได้กล่าวถึงความสำคัญของการสร้างความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานจีนด้านการลงทุนในประเทศไทย ซึ่งคณะ Shanghai Fair มีบทบาทสำคัญในการรับข้อเสนอจากภาคเอกชนและนำเสนอให้กับภาครัฐ เพื่อช่วยขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรมและบริการที่ครอบคลุมหลากหลายสาขา เช่น สิ่งทอ เครื่องปรับอากาศ ชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ โทรคมนาคม โลจิสติกส์ เป้าหมายของสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย ซึ่งจะช่วยส่งเสริมการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับทั้งสองประเทศในอนาคต พร้อมเปิดโอกาสใหม่ๆ สำหรับนักลงทุนและผู้ประกอบการของทั้งสองประเทศ
On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, Mr. Arun Iamsuree, President of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute (TCEII), welcomed Mr. Miao Hua, Vice President of the Shanghai Federation of Economic and Industrial Associations, along with the Shanghai Fair Committee and accompanying entrepreneurs, at the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI).
During the meeting, the importance of fostering cooperation with Chinese agencies regarding investment in Thailand was discussed. The Shanghai Fair Committee plays a crucial role in receiving proposals from the private sector and presenting them to the government to help drive the industry and services across various sectors such as textiles, air conditioning, automotive parts, telecommunications, and logistics. The goal of the Federation of Thai Industries is to promote sustainable economic development for both countries in the future while creating new opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs from both nations.
