เมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2569 นายวิเชาวน์ รักพงษ์ไพโรจน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสายงานกิจการต่างประเทศ พร้อมด้วย นางสาวยุพิน บุญศิริจันทร์ กรรมการบริหาร ส.อ.ท. และกรรมการสายงานกิจการต่างประเทศ นายวชิระชัย คูนำวัฒนา รองประธานสายงานเศรษฐกิจและวิชาการ และนายวิทวัฒน์ ทองเวส เลขาธิการกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ ให้การต้อนรับ Mr. Cédric Bozonnat ที่ปรึกษาด้านพลังงานและความยั่งยืนประจำภูมิภาคอาเซียน สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฝรั่งเศสประจำประเทศสิงคโปร์ และคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าพบหารือเกี่ยวกับภาพรวมเศรษฐกิจไทยและพัฒนาการของอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไทย ระหว่างการเดินทางเยือนประเทศไทย ณ ห้องประชุมบางจาก ส.อ.ท.
ในการหารือ นายวชิระชัย ได้นำเสนอภาพรวมเศรษฐกิจไทย โดยคาดว่าเศรษฐกิจไทยในปี 2569 จะขยายตัวร้อยละ 1.6–2.0 โดยได้รับแรงสนับสนุนจากการส่งออกสินค้าเทคโนโลยี การลงทุนในอุตสาหกรรมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) และศูนย์ข้อมูล (Data Center) ตลอดจนมาตรการกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจภายในประเทศ อย่างไรก็ตาม ภาคอุตสาหกรรมไทยยังคงเผชิญความท้าทายจากต้นทุนพลังงาน การขาดแคลนแรงงาน และการปรับตัวสู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนตามแนวทาง Green Transition
ด้านอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ นายวิทวัฒน์ ได้นำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนผ่านจากการผลิตรถยนต์เครื่องยนต์สันดาปภายในสู่ยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า (EV) ให้สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมาย 30@30 ของประเทศไทย ที่มุ่งเน้นให้ยานยนต์ปล่อยมลพิษเป็นศูนย์ (Zero Emission Vehicle: ZEV) มีสัดส่วนร้อยละ 30 ของกำลังการผลิตยานยนต์ทั้งหมดภายในปี 2573 พร้อมทั้งกล่าวถึงบทบาทของมาตรการ EV 3.0 และ EV 3.5 ในการดึงดูดการลงทุนจากผู้ผลิตยานยนต์ต่างชาติให้เข้ามาจัดตั้งฐานการผลิตในประเทศไทย
ในโอกาสดังกล่าว Mr. Cédric Bozonnat ได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทิศทางการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าของฝรั่งเศส ซึ่งมีแนวโน้มเติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง พร้อมทั้งแสดงความสนใจต่อโอกาสการลงทุนด้านโครงสร้างพื้นฐานสำหรับยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าในประเทศไทย โดยเฉพาะสถานีอัดประจุไฟฟ้า (EV Charging Station) ซึ่งเห็นว่าเป็นสาขาที่ภาคเอกชนของไทยและฝรั่งเศสสามารถต่อยอดความร่วมมือและส่งเสริมการลงทุนร่วมกันได้ในอนาคต
On June 25, 2026, Mr. Vichavarn Rukphongphairoj, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Head of the International Affairs Division, along with Ms. Yupin Boonsirichandra, Executive Board Member of FTI and Committee Member of the International Affairs Division, Mr. Watchirachai Koonamwattana, Vice Chairman of the Economic and Academic Division, and Mr. Witthawat Thongwess, Secretary General of the Automotive Industry Group, welcomed Mr. Cédric Bozonnat, Energy and Sustainability Advisor for the ASEAN region from the French Embassy in Singapore, and his delegation to discuss the overall Thai economy and developments in Thailand's automotive industry during their visit to Thailand at the Bangchak Meeting Room, FTI.
During the meeting, Mr. Watchirachai presented an overview of the Thai economy, forecasting that the Thai economy in 2026 would grow by 1.6–2.0%, supported by exports of technology products, investment in artificial intelligence (AI) industry and data centers, as well as domestic economic stimulus measures. However, the Thai industrial sector continues to face challenges from energy costs, labor shortages, and the shift towards sustainable development in line with the Green Transition.
Regarding the automotive industry, Mr. Witthawat presented information on the transition from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs) in alignment with Thailand's 30@30 target, which aims for zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) to account for 30% of total vehicle production capacity by 2030. He also discussed the role of EV 3.0 and EV 3.5 measures in attracting investments from foreign automotive manufacturers to establish production bases in Thailand.
On this occasion, Mr. Cédric Bozonnat exchanged information regarding the trends in the development of the electric vehicle industry in France, which continues to grow steadily. He expressed interest in investment opportunities related to electric vehicle infrastructure in Thailand, particularly electric vehicle charging stations, which he sees as a field where the private sectors of Thailand and France can enhance collaboration and jointly promote investments in the future.
