เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2567 นายอภิชัย เตชะนิธิสวัสดิ์ รองประธานสายงานการค้าและการลงทุน สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมด้วยนางมยุรี ดิฐภักดีชล และกรรมการสภาธุรกิจ ได้ให้การต้อนรับนาย Manmohan Singh และนาย Shri Natwarlal Patel ประธานร่วมสมาพันธ์สภาหอการค้าและอุตสาหกรรมของอินเดีย (FICCI) และคณะ ในการประชุมหารือความร่วมมือด้านการค้า การลงทุนระหว่างไทยและอินเดีย ณ ห้องประชุม CP Group (1010) ส.อ.ท.
ในที่ประชุมได้สรุปภาพรวมการค้าและการลงทุนระหว่างไทยและอินเดียในช่วงที่ผ่านมา โดยอินเดียมีการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจ อย่างต่อเนื่องและมีความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพ ในขณะที่ประเทศไทยมีศักยภาพสูงในด้านการผลิตและซัพพลายเชน (Supply Chain) รวมถึงการสนับสนุนและดึงดูดนักลงทุนต่างชาติเข้ามาลงทุนในประเทศไทย โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับโอกาสใหม่ๆ สำหรับความร่วมมือ เช่น การพัฒนานวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีสะอาด ความร่วมมือด้านอาหาร เป็นต้น
การประชุมครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นขั้นตอนสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าระหว่างไทยและอินเดีย และคาดหวังว่าจะนำไปสู่ความร่วมมือที่แข็งแกร่งและมีประโยชน์ร่วมกันในอนาคต
On September 16, 2024, Mr. Apichai Techanitisawat, Vice Chairman of the Trade and Investment Division of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with Ms. Mayuree Dithphakdee and members of the Business Council, welcomed Mr. Manmohan Singh and Mr. Shri Natwarlal Patel, Co-Chairman of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and their delegation to a meeting to discuss trade and investment cooperation between Thailand and India at the CP Group Meeting Room (1010) FTI.
The meeting summarized the overview of trade and investment between Thailand and India in the past period, noting that India has been experiencing continuous economic growth and has a rich biodiversity, while Thailand possesses high potential in production and supply chains, as well as supporting and attracting foreign investors to invest in Thailand. Both parties discussed new opportunities for collaboration, such as the development of innovation and clean technology, and cooperation in the food sector, among others.
This meeting represents an important step in strengthening trade relations between Thailand and India and is expected to lead to robust and mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
