วันศุกร์ที่ 6 กันยายน 2567 นายพิภพ โชควัฒนา รองประธานสายงานเศรษฐกิจและวิชาการ สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมเป็นวิทยากรในงานเสวนา Morning Talk ครั้งที่ 4 บรรยายเรื่อง "เจาะลึกภาคเศรษฐกิจอุตสาหกรรมไทยปลายปี 2567 รับมืออย่างไร? ภายใต้ความร้อนแรงของเศรษฐกิจโลก" จัดโดยสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจอุตสาหกรรม (สศอ.) ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทย ภายใต้หัวข้อ "ตีโจทย์เศรษฐกิจไทยครึ่งปีหลัง 2567 ผ่านมุมมองสมรภูมิโลก" ณ ห้อง Kensington ชั้น 5 โรงแรมเดอะเบอร์เคลีย์ ประตูน้ำ
นายพิภพ ได้นำเสนอถึงการตอบสนองต่อความท้าทายที่เกิดจากสถานการณ์เศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรมโลกในปัจจุบัน ซึ่งรวมถึงสงครามการค้า สงครามภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเทคโนโลยีและสถานการณ์โรคระบาดที่เป็นปัจจัยหลักในการกระตุ้นการเปลี่ยนแปลงและวิวัฒนาการของโลก โดยข้อดีของสงครามการค้า ส่งผลให้เกิดการกระตุ้นพัฒนาการของเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ โดยเฉพาะการพัฒนาขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันและการส่งออกสินค้าจากไทยที่มีผลกระทบจากสงครามยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า (EV) และการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีอวกาศ
นอกจากนี้ นายพิภพ ได้นำเสนอแนวทางการปรับโครงสร้างอุตสาหกรรมที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมไทยและมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของไทย การส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมเป้าหมายในการขับเคลื่อน GDP และการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนตามเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (SDGs)
On Friday, September 6, 2024, Mr. Pipob Chokwattana, Vice Chairman of the Economic and Academic Affairs Committee of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated as a speaker in the 4th Morning Talk seminar discussing "In-depth Analysis of the Thai Industrial Economy at the End of 2024: How to Handle it Under the Surge of the Global Economy" organized by the Office of Industrial Economics in collaboration with the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce under the theme "Solving the Economic Puzzle of Thailand in the Second Half of 2024 Through Global Perspectives" at the Kensington Room, 5th Floor, The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam.
Mr. Pipob presented on responding to challenges arising from the current global economic and industrial situation, which includes trade wars, geopolitical conflicts, technological changes, and pandemic conditions as key factors stimulating change and evolution worldwide. The advantages of trade wars have stimulated the development of new technologies and innovations, particularly enhancing the competitiveness and export capabilities of Thailand, which are affected by the electric vehicle (EV) trade war and the development of space technology.
In addition, Mr. Pipob presented a framework for restructuring the industry that emphasizes enhancing the Thai industrial sector and focuses on developing Thai competitiveness, promoting target industries to drive GDP, and advancing sustainable development in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
