เมื่อวันพุธที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2567 นายอภิชิต ประสพรัตน์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน “Unlocking Sustainable Trade: พาณิชย์เปิดประตูสู่การค้าที่ยั่งยืน” โดยมีนายภูมิธรรม เวชยชัย รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ เป็นประธานเปิดงาน พร้อมด้วยนายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ นายวุฒิไกร ลีวีระพันธุ์ ปลัดกระทรวงพาณิชย์ รศ.ดร.พสุ เดชะรินทร์ ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงพาณิชย์ ดร.พจน์ อร่ามวัฒนานนท์ รองประธานกรรมการหอการค้าไทยและสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย และนายแสงชัย ธีรกุลวาณิช ประธานสมาพันธ์ SME ไทยเข้าร่วม ณ ห้องประชุมบุรฉัตรไชยากร ชั้น 4 กระทรวงพาณิชย์
ภายในงาน ได้มีการเปิดตัวคลังความรู้ “พาณิชย์คิดค้า อย่างยั่งยืน” (คิดค้า.com/moc-sdgs) เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นว่ากระทรวงพาณิชย์สนับสนุนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ขององค์การสหประชาชาติ และสร้างความตระหนักรู้ให้กับภาคธุรกิจว่าการทำธุรกิจการค้าในยุคปัจจุบัน ไม่สามารถมองแค่เรื่องการเพิ่มผลกำไร แต่ต้องให้เกิดความยั่งยืนในระยะยาว โดยสร้างความสมดุลระหว่างการเติบโตของธุรกิจ และให้คุณค่ากับชุมชนสังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม นอกจากนี้ยังได้มีการจัดแสดงบูธนิทรรศการสินค้ายั่งยืนที่โดดเด่น ได้แก่ สินค้าเกษตรนวัตกรรมภายใต้โครงการ Agri Plus Award 2024 ตัวอย่างสินค้า SDGs จากส่วนภูมิภาค สินค้ายั่งยืนจากผู้ประกอบการชุมชนมีดี (SMART Local ME-D) เป็นต้น
On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, Mr. Apichit Prasoprat, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated in the opening ceremony of the event “Unlocking Sustainable Trade: Commerce Opens Doors to Sustainable Trade.” The event was officiated by Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, alongside Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Minister of Commerce, Mr. Wuttikrai Leewirapan, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pasu Decharin, Advisor to the Minister of Commerce, Dr. Phot Aramwattanakorn, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Thai Industries, and Mr. Saengchai Theerakulanit, President of the Thai SME Confederation, at the Burachatchaiyakan Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Ministry of Commerce.
During the event, the knowledge repository “Thinking Trading Sustainably” (คิดค้า.com/moc-sdgs) was launched to demonstrate that the Ministry of Commerce supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. It aims to raise awareness within the business sector that conducting trade in the current era cannot solely focus on profit maximization but must also ensure long-term sustainability by creating a balance between business growth and providing value to communities, society, and the environment. Additionally, there was a showcase of prominent sustainable product booths, including innovative agricultural products under the Agri Plus Award 2024 project, examples of SDG products from regional areas, and sustainable goods from community entrepreneurs under the SMART Local ME-D initiative, among others.
