ส.อ.ท. จัดกิจกรรมระดมความคิดเห็น พัฒนาชุดข้อมูล DoR ประเมินความพร้อมอุตฯ ไทยFTI Holds Workshop to Gather Opinions for DoR Data Development to Assess Thai Industry Readiness

On Thursday, August 1, 2024, Mr. Pongchai Chaijirawiwat, Chair of the Industrial Reform and Industry 4.0 Development Committee and Vice President of the Innovation Institute for Industry, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), inaugurated a workshop to gather opinions for the improvement and development of the Degree of Relevance (DoR) data for Thailand, aimed at assessing the level of readiness of the Thai industry according to the Industry 4.0 framework utilizing the Thailand i4.0 Index tool under the project "Expanding the Mechanism for Upgrading Enterprises with the Thailand i4.0 Index – DoR for Ranking System & Assessment Management Activities" at the Emerald Room, 3rd Floor, The Emerald Hotel, Ratchadapisek Road.

Additionally, Mr. Pongchai emphasized the importance of upgrading the industry to Industry 4.0. The workshop aimed at gathering opinions for the improvement and development of the DoR (Degree of Relevance) data for Thailand, which is essential for assessing the level of readiness of the Thai industry according to the Industry 4.0 concept. This initiative was organized by the Innovation Institute for Industry (IIT), Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), in collaboration with the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) through the Technology Development Support Program (iTAP). The objective is to enhance the DoR data set, which represents the relevance levels of each sub-dimension of the industry, to be used for calculating the new Ranking System in lieu of the previous data set on the Thailand i4.0 Index platform.
