วันอังคารที่ 30 กรกฎาคม 2567 นายอิศเรศ รัตนดิลก ณ ภูเก็ต รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และตัวแทนกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม เข้าร่วมให้ข้อคิดเห็นในการประชุมหารือ (Consultation Meeting) เรื่อง "การกำหนดหลักเกณฑ์เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการสิ้นสุดการเป็นของเสีย (End-of-Waste)" ซึ่งจัดโดยศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศด้านการจัดการสารและของเสียอันตราย (ศสอ.) จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยมีนายจุลพงษ์ ทวีศรี อธิบดีกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด ณ ห้องประชุม 1012 ชั้น 10 ส.อ.ท.
การประชุมหารือ (Consultation Meeting) ในครั้งนี้ยังได้รับเกียรติจากนายสุรชัย ลีวัฒนานุกูล ผู้ช่วยผู้อำนวยการ ศสอ. และหัวหน้าโครงการ “Provision of Services Relative to End-of-Waste Management in Thailand Focusing on Plaster Mold Waste” ภายใต้งบประมาณสนับสนุนจากองค์การพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ (UNIDO) มานำเสนอภาพรวมโครงการ และผลการศึกษาแนวทางการนำเกณฑ์สิ้นสุดการเป็นของเสีย (End-of-Waste; E-o-W) เพื่อรับฟังข้อเสนอแนะ ความคิดเห็น ข้อห่วงกังวลจากผู้แทนภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องในการพัฒนาและจัดทำเกณฑ์สิ้นสุดการเป็นของเสีย องค์ประกอบและโครงสร้างของหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อกำกับดูแลและพิจารณาเกณฑ์ดังกล่าวให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทของประเทศไทย
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้รับเกียรติจากนายธนารักษ์ พงษ์เภตรา ประธานสถาบันอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อการเกษตร นายเฉลิม โกกนุทาภรณ์ รองประธานสถาบันอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อการเกษตร นายพร้อมพร อิศรางกูร ณ อยุธยา กรรมการสถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน และนายพิษณุ จารุพัฒนะสิริกุล กรรมการสถาบันน้ำและสิ่งแวดล้อมเพื่อความยั่งยืน ส.อ.ท. นำเสนอแนวทางการใช้ประโยชน์ และขอรับฟังความคิดเห็นแนวทางการผลักดันเข้าสู่การปลดล็อคของเสียอุตสาหกรรม (End of Waste) สำหรับ Digestate เพื่อใช้ในภาคเกษตร โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อลดปริมาณของเสียที่ถูกนำไปทิ้ง ส่งเสริมการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างยั่งยืน จัดการปัญหาน้ำแล้งของภาคการเกษตร จัดการของเสียอุตสาหกรรมอย่างเป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม ตลอดจนลดการปลดปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกของประเทศไทย
On Tuesday, July 30, 2024, Mr. Isares Rattanadilok na Phuket, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with representatives from the industrial sector, participated in a Consultation Meeting regarding the "Establishment of Guidelines for End-of-Waste" organized by the Center of Excellence in Hazardous Substance and Waste Management (CEHSWM) at Chulalongkorn University. The meeting was honored by the presence of Mr. Julapong Taweesri, Director-General of the Department of Industrial Works, who presided over the opening ceremony at the FTI conference room, 10th floor, Room 1012.
This Consultation Meeting was also honored by the presence of Mr. Surachai Liwatthanakool, Deputy Director of CEHSWM, and Project Manager of the “Provision of Services Relative to End-of-Waste Management in Thailand Focusing on Plaster Mold Waste” funded by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), who presented an overview of the project and the results of the study on the End-of-Waste (E-o-W) criteria. The goal was to gather suggestions, opinions, and concerns from representatives of the industrial sector involved in the development and formulation of the End-of-Waste criteria, the composition and structure of relevant agencies to oversee and evaluate the criteria to suit the context of Thailand.
In addition, the meeting was graced by the presence of Mr. Thanarak Pongpetr, Chairman of the Agricultural Industry Institute, Mr. Chalerm Koganuthaporn, Vice Chairman of the Agricultural Industry Institute, Mr. Phromporn Israngkura na Ayudhya, a member of the Water and Environment Institute for Sustainability, and Mr. Pisanu Jarupathanasirikul, a member of the Water and Environment Institute for Sustainability, FTI, who proposed ways to utilize and sought opinions on the approach to promoting the unlock of industrial waste (End of Waste) for Digestate to be used in the agricultural sector, aiming to reduce the volume of waste sent for disposal, promote sustainable resource use, address drought issues in agriculture, manage industrial waste in an environmentally friendly manner, and reduce Thailand’s greenhouse gas emissions.
