เมื่อวันอังคารที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2567 นายอรินทร์ จิรา รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ได้รับมอบหมายให้เป็นผู้แทนลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ร่วมกับ THE SWEDISH TRADE AND INVEST COUNCIL โดย Mr. Kacper Pierzynowski (Trade Commissioner of Sweden to Thailand) จากประเทศสวีเดน ภายในงาน Pioneer the Possible Thailand 2024: Green Production โดยมีคณะกรรมการ ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วม ณ ห้อง Workshop Room 1 – 3 True Digital Park East
บันทึกความเข้าใจ (MOU) ฉบับนี้ ดำเนินงานภายใต้โครงการ the Pioneer the Possible ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของความร่วมมือระหว่างสวีเดนและไทย ในการทำงานร่วมกันเพื่อให้บรรลุเป้าหมายความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน (Carbon Neutrality) ผ่านการผลักดันให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนผ่านสีเขียว (Green Transition) ใน 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1. Green production 2. Green mobility และ 3. Energy transition
ทั้งนี้ ดร.สวนิตย์ บุญญาสุวัฒน์ ศรีเลิศฟ้า รองประธานคณะทำงาน BCG Model ส.อ.ท. ร่วมเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายในหัวข้อ “BCG Economy and Opportunities for Sweden – Thailand” และร่วมเวทีเสวนาในหัวข้อ “Driving Sustainable Manufacturing: Thai-Swedish Collaboration Opportunities” อีกด้วย
On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, Mr. Arinth Jira, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), was appointed as the representative to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in collaboration with THE SWEDISH TRADE AND INVEST COUNCIL, represented by Mr. Kacper Pierzynowski (Trade Commissioner of Sweden to Thailand), during the event Pioneer the Possible Thailand 2024: Green Production. Members of the FTI committee also participated in the event held at Workshop Room 1 – 3, True Digital Park East.
This MOU operates under the the Pioneer the Possible project, which is part of the cooperation between Sweden and Thailand to work together towards achieving carbon neutrality through the promotion of green transition in three areas: 1. Green production 2. Green mobility 3. Energy transition.
Additionally, Dr. Suanith Boonyasuwat, Vice President of the BCG Model Working Group of FTI, served as a speaker on the topic “BCG Economy and Opportunities for Sweden – Thailand” and participated in a panel discussion on “Driving Sustainable Manufacturing: Thai-Swedish Collaboration Opportunities.”
