เมื่อวันที่ 14 มิถุนายน 2567 นายอดุล ขาวละออ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ในฐานะผู้แทนประธาน ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมประชุมคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (บอร์ดบีโอไอ) ครั้งที่ 3/2567 โดยมีนายพิชัย ชุณหวชิร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการคลังเป็นประธาน และได้ร่วมมอบกระเช้าแสดงความยินดีแก่ท่าน เนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ ณ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการลงทุน (BOI)
ในที่ประชุมได้เห็นชอบมาตรการส่งเสริมการลงทุน เพื่อยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมชิ้นส่วนยานยนต์ และอนุมัติให้มีการส่งเสริมในกิจการเพิ่มเติม ได้แก่
1. กิจการศูนย์บริการซ่อมแบตเตอรี่ยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าที่ใช้แล้ว
2. กิจการนำแบตเตอรี่ยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าและ/หรือ ระบบกักเก็บพลังงานที่ไม่ใช้แล้ว มาจัดชุดใหม่ (Repack)
3. กิจการ Data Hosting เพื่อรองรับการลงทุนของผู้ให้บริการ Cloud รายใหญ่ เพื่อให้เกิดการใช้ Data Center ในไทยได้เต็มประสิทธิภาพ
4. กิจการสถานกักกันสัตว์ก่อนการส่งออก โดยให้บริการกักกันสัตว์ เพื่อตรวจโรคและรับรองตามมาตรฐานการค้าปศุสัตว์ระหว่างประเทศ ก่อนที่จะทำการส่งออก เพื่อรองรับแนวโน้มการเติบโตของตลาดการค้า ปศุสัตว์ระหว่างประเทศของไทย เป็นต้น
On June 14, 2024, Mr. Adul Khaolawor, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), as the representative of the FTI Chairman, attended the 3rd Investment Promotion Board (BOI) meeting of 2024, which was chaired by Mr. Phichai Chunhawan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. He also presented a congratulatory gift to him on the occasion of assuming his new position at the Office of the Board of Investment (BOI).
During the meeting, investment promotion measures were approved to enhance the automotive parts industry. Additionally, the expansion of supported activities was approved, including:
1. The establishment of electric vehicle battery repair service centers for used batteries.
2. The business of repacking used electric vehicle batteries and/or energy storage systems.
3. Data Hosting services to support investments by major Cloud service providers to optimize the use of Data Centers in Thailand.
4. Animal quarantine services prior to export, providing quarantine for animals to conduct disease checks and comply with international livestock trade standards before export, to accommodate the growing trend in the international livestock trade market for Thailand, among others.
