เมื่อวันที่ 21 พฤษภาคม 2567 นายเกรียงไกร เธียรนุกุล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ให้การต้อนรับ คณะศูนย์วิจัยอนาคตศึกษาฟิวเจอร์เทลส์ แล็บ (Future Tales Lab) นำโดย รศ. ดร. เสรี ศุภราทิตย์ ประธานกรรมการบริหาร Future Tales Lab พร้อมคณะ เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือด้านความเสี่ยงและภัยคุกคามต่อภาคอุตสาหกรรมจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ณ ส.อ.ท.
นายเกรียงไกร ได้นำเสนอแนวทางการดำเนินงานของ ส.อ.ท. ในวาระปี 2567 – 2569 โดยชูประเด็นการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนหรือ Sustainable Development Goals : SDGs เพื่อตอบโจทย์แนวโน้มการดำเนินงานของโลกและการแก้ปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ โดยศูนย์วิจัยฯ ได้นำเสนอขอบเขตการดำเนินงาน เช่น การบริหารจัดการน้ำ และการแก้ปัญหาที่ได้เคยร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน การดำเนินงานที่เกี่ยวกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ซึ่งครอบคลุมเรื่องข้อมูล การลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก และคาร์บอนเครดิต เพื่อประสานความร่วมมือกับ ส.อ.ท. ต่อไป
On May 21, 2024, Mr. Kriangkrai Theeranukul, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), welcomed a delegation from the Future Tales Lab Research Center, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seri Supharativet, Executive Chairman of Future Tales Lab, along with the team, to discuss collaboration on risks and threats to the industrial sector arising from climate change at the FTI.
Mr. Kriangkrai presented the operational guidelines of the FTI for the period of 2024 – 2026, emphasizing the issue of sustainable development or Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to address the trends in global operations and to resolve issues related to climate change. The research center presented the scope of operations, such as water management and problem-solving initiatives previously collaborated with both public and private sectors, as well as operations relating to climate change, which encompass issues of data management, greenhouse gas reduction, and carbon credits, to facilitate further collaboration with the FTI.
