วันที่ 25 เมษายน 2567 ดร.สวนิตย์ บุญญาสุวัฒน์ รองประธานคณะทำงาน BCG Model สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) เป็นวิทยากรร่วมเสวนาหัวข้อ “ธุรกิจไทยปรับตัวรับบริบทลดโลกร้อน” ในงาน Go Green 2024: The Ambition of Thailand จัดโดยกรุงเทพธุรกิจ ณ ห้องแกรนด์ บอลรูม โรงแรม แกรนด์ ไฮแอท เอราวัณ กรุงเทพฯ
งาน Go Green 2024: The Ambition of Thailand จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นเวทีสำคัญในการสร้างความตระหนักรู้และความเข้าใจต่อสถานการณ์ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของไทย ภายใต้เป้าหมายความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอน (Carbon Neutrality) ภายในปี ค.ศ. 2050 และประกาศเป้าหมายการปลดปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero) ในปี ค.ศ. 2065 ซึ่งเป็นความท้าทายสำคัญของประเทศไทยที่ทุกภาคส่วนทั้งรัฐบาล หน่วยงานราชการ ภาคเอกชนและประชาชน จำเป็นต้องเร่งปรับตัวและเตรียมรับมือต่อสถานการณ์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็ว โดยเฉพาะกฎกติกาการค้าระหว่างประเทศใหม่ๆ ที่แต่ละประเทศและแต่ละภูมิภาคต่างออกมาบังคับใช้อย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งประเทศไทยไม่สามารถหลีกเลี่ยงได้ จึงมีความจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง ต้องร่วมผลักดัน เพื่อให้บรรลุเป้าหมายความเป็นกลางทางคาร์บอนและการปล่อยคาร์บอนสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ อันนำไปสู่การเพิ่มขีดความสามารถทางการแข่งขันด้านเศรษฐกิจให้กับประเทศต่อไป
On April 25, 2024, Dr. Suvanit Boonyasuwat, Vice Chairman of the BCG Model Working Group of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), participated as a speaker in the forum titled “Thai Business Adjusts to Context of Climate Change” at the Go Green 2024: The Ambition of Thailand event organized by Bangkok Business at the Grand Ballroom of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok Hotel.
The Go Green 2024: The Ambition of Thailand event is organized as an important platform to raise awareness and understanding of the environmental situation in Thailand, under the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and announcing the net-zero greenhouse gas emissions target by 2065. This poses a significant challenge for Thailand, necessitating all sectors, including the government, public agencies, the private sector, and the general public, to rapidly adapt and prepare for the swiftly changing circumstances, particularly regarding new international trade regulations being continuously enforced by various countries and regions. Therefore, it is crucial for all related sectors to collaborate in order to achieve carbon neutrality and net-zero carbon emissions, which will enhance the country’s economic competitiveness.
