สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) ร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการขับเคลื่อนสังคมไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน ผ่านการออกบูธนิทรรศการในงาน Social Development Expo 2026 ระหว่างวันที่ 21–23 สิงหาคม 2569 ณ อิมแพ็ค ชาเลนเจอร์ ฮอลล์ 2 เมืองทองธานี ซึ่งจัดโดย กระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์
การเข้าร่วมงานครั้งนี้ ส.อ.ท. มุ่งถ่ายทอดบทบาทของภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่ไม่ได้จำกัดอยู่เพียงการสร้างผลิตภัณฑ์และขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ แต่ยังให้ความสำคัญกับการสร้างคุณค่าให้แก่สังคม สิ่งแวดล้อม และการพัฒนาประเทศอย่างยั่งยืน
ภายในบูธของ ส.อ.ท. มีกิจกรรมให้ความรู้และสร้างการมีส่วนร่วมกับผู้เข้าชมงานในหลากหลายรูปแบบ อาทิ การเรียนรู้เรื่องเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนและการคัดแยกขยะอย่างครบวงจร การเปลี่ยนผ่านภาคการผลิตสู่ความยั่งยืน รวมถึงกิจกรรมและเกมสนุก ๆ ที่เปิดโอกาสให้ประชาชนได้ทำความรู้จักบทบาทและภารกิจของสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทยมากยิ่งขึ้น
สำหรับพิธีเปิดงาน เมื่อวันที่ 21 สิงหาคม 2569 ได้รับเกียรติจาก นายวีระชัย คุณาวิชยานนท์ รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย และประธานสายงานกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคม (CSR) เป็นผู้แทน ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิด โดยมี นายนิกร โสมกลาง รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการพัฒนาสังคมและความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ เป็นประธานในพิธี
การเข้าร่วมงาน Social Development Expo 2026 สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของ ส.อ.ท. ในการส่งเสริมให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมเติบโตควบคู่กับความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม พร้อมเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือกับทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อร่วมกันสร้าง “อุตสาหกรรมที่เข้มแข็ง สังคมที่น่าอยู่ และอนาคตที่ยั่งยืน” ให้กับประเทศไทย
The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) participated in driving Thai society towards sustainability through an exhibition booth at the Social Development Expo 2026 from August 21–23, 2026, at Impact Challenger Hall 2, Muang Thong Thani, organized by the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
Through this event, FTI aims to convey the role of the industrial sector, which extends beyond just creating products and driving the economy, but also emphasizes the importance of generating value for society, the environment, and sustainable national development.
Within the FTI booth, educational activities were organized to engage visitors in various ways, such as learning about the circular economy and comprehensive waste segregation, the transition of the production sector towards sustainability, as well as fun activities and games that provided opportunities for the public to better understand the roles and missions of the Federation of Thai Industries.
At the opening ceremony on August 21, 2026, the honor was given to Mr. Weerachai Khunavichayanon, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries and Chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Division, as the representative of FTI at the ceremony, presided over by Mr. Nikorn Somkuang, Minister of Social Development and Human Security.
Participation in the Social Development Expo 2026 reflects FTI's commitment to promoting the industrial sector's growth alongside social and environmental responsibility, while also fostering cooperation with all sectors to collectively create a “Strong Industry, Livable Society, and Sustainable Future” for Thailand.
