การเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่ Net Zero กำลังขยับจากประเด็นด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมไปสู่โจทย์สำคัญของภาคธุรกิจ ทั้งด้านการลงทุน ห่วงโซ่อุปทาน การเข้าถึงตลาด และความสามารถในการแข่งขันในเวทีโลก ส.อ.ท. จึงให้ความสำคัญกับการสร้างความพร้อมให้ผู้ประกอบการไทยสามารถเดินหน้าธุรกิจควบคู่กับการลดผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
เมื่อวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2569 นายอรินทร์ จิรา กรรมการสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และที่ปรึกษาคณะอนุกรรมการส่งเสริมการค้าและการลงทุน สายงานกิจการต่างประเทศ ส.อ.ท. เข้าร่วมงาน BCCT Thailand International Business Awards (TIBA) 2026 ซึ่งจัดโดยหอการค้าอังกฤษแห่งประเทศไทย (BCCT) ณ โรงแรมแลนด์มาร์ค กรุงเทพฯ
งานดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเพื่อเชิดชูความเป็นเลิศของภาคธุรกิจไทย โดยมีการมอบรางวัลใน 13 หมวดหมู่ ครอบคลุมทั้งองค์กรและบุคคลที่มีผลงานโดดเด่นตามเกณฑ์มาตรฐานสากล

ภายในงาน นายอรินทร์ ได้รับเกียรติเป็นผู้มอบรางวัล Journey to Net Zero Award ซึ่งมอบให้แก่องค์กรที่มีความมุ่งมั่นและผลงานโดดเด่นในการขับเคลื่อนธุรกิจสู่เป้าหมาย Net Zero
รางวัลดังกล่าวสะท้อนว่า การดำเนินธุรกิจอย่างรับผิดชอบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมกำลังกลายเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของมาตรฐานการดำเนินธุรกิจในยุคใหม่ และเป็นปัจจัยที่ภาคอุตสาหกรรมต้องเตรียมพร้อม เพื่อรักษาความสามารถในการแข่งขันและสร้างความเชื่อมั่นให้กับคู่ค้าและตลาดต่างประเทศ
สำหรับ ส.อ.ท. การเข้าร่วมเวที TIBA 2026 ยังเป็นโอกาสในการเชื่อมโยงกับ เครือข่ายธุรกิจระหว่างประเทศ และแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองด้านการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอย่างยั่งยืน พร้อมสนับสนุนให้ภาคธุรกิจไทยเดินหน้าสู่การเติบโตที่คำนึงถึงทั้ง เศรษฐกิจ สิ่งแวดล้อม และความสามารถในการแข่งขัน
The transition to Net Zero is shifting from an environmental issue to a crucial challenge for the business sector, affecting areas such as investment, supply chains, market access, and competitiveness on the global stage. Therefore, FTI places importance on preparing Thai entrepreneurs to continue their businesses while minimizing environmental impacts.
On August 20, 2026, Mr. Arin Jira, a member of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) Board and Advisor to the Sub-Committee for Trade and Investment Promotion, Division of Foreign Affairs, FTI, attended the BCCT Thailand International Business Awards (TIBA) 2026 organized by the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) at the Landmark Hotel, Bangkok.
This event was organized to honor the excellence of the Thai business sector, featuring awards presented in 13 categories that encompass organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements according to international standards.

During the event, Mr. Arin had the honor of presenting the Journey to Net Zero Award to organizations that are committed and have outstanding achievements in driving their businesses towards the Net Zero goal.
This award reflects that environmentally responsible business practices are becoming part of the new business operation standards and are factors that the industrial sector must prepare for to maintain competitiveness and build confidence among partners and international markets.
For FTI, participating in TIBA 2026 also provides an opportunity to connect with international business networks and exchange views on sustainable industrial development, while supporting the Thai business sector to advance towards growth that takes into account the economy, environment, and competitiveness.
