ส.อ.ท. เดินหน้าสนับสนุนอุตสาหกรรมอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับไทย เชื่อม “ความคิดสร้างสรรค์–การออกแบบ–ศักยภาพการผลิต” สู่การสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มและขยายโอกาสทางธุรกิจในตลาดสากล ท่ามกลางตลาดเครื่องประดับโลกที่ให้ความสำคัญกับดีไซน์ เรื่องราว และอัตลักษณ์ของสินค้า
โดยล่าสุด เมื่อวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2569 นายกำธร ศิลาอ่อน รองประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) และประธานสถาบันพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ พร้อมคณะกรรมการสถาบันฯ เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดงาน The 74th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair โดยมีนางสาวกิริฎา เภาพิจิตร ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงพาณิชย์ เป็นประธาน ณ ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิติ์ (QSNCC)
งานจัดโดยกรมส่งเสริมการค้าระหว่างประเทศ (DITP) กระทรวงพาณิชย์ ร่วมกับสถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับแห่งชาติ (GIT) รวบรวมผู้แสดงสินค้าจากไทยและต่างประเทศกว่า 1,300 บริษัท รวมประมาณ 2,800 คูหา ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ Hall 1–8 และ Plenary Hall
ภายในงานมีทั้งการจัดแสดงอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับ กิจกรรม The Craft of Brilliance ที่นำเสนอประวัติศาสตร์และวิวัฒนาการของงานอัญมณีไทย The Ones to Watch ซึ่งเปิดพื้นที่ให้ดีไซเนอร์รุ่นใหม่ รวมถึง Networking Reception การตรวจสอบและรับรองอัญมณีโดย GIT และการสัมมนาเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้สำหรับผู้ประกอบการและผู้เชี่ยวชาญ

การเข้าร่วมงานของ ส.อ.ท. สะท้อนบทบาทของสถาบันพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์ในการเชื่อมโยงภาคการผลิตเข้ากับความคิดสร้างสรรค์และการออกแบบ ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญต่อการสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับสินค้าไทย และต่อยอดไปสู่โอกาสทางธุรกิจในตลาดต่างประเทศ
ส.อ.ท. พร้อมสนับสนุนการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับให้ก้าวจาก “ฐานการผลิต” ไปสู่ “อุตสาหกรรมสร้างสรรค์มูลค่าสูง” โดยใช้จุดแข็งของไทยทั้งด้านทักษะฝีมือ การออกแบบ และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ เป็นฐานในการสร้างแบรนด์ เพิ่มมูลค่าสินค้า และขยายตลาดสู่ระดับสากล

FTI is progressing to support the Thai gem and jewelry industry by connecting “creativity – design – production potential” to create added value and expand business opportunities in the international market, amidst a global jewelry market that emphasizes design, storytelling, and product identity.
On September 8, 2026, Mr. Kamtorn Silaoon, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and Chairman of the Creative Industry Development Institute, along with the Institute's committee members, attended the opening ceremony of The 74th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, which was chaired by Ms. Kirida Phayachit, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).
The event, organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), gathered over 1,300 exhibitors from Thailand and abroad, totaling approximately 2,800 booths covering Hall 1–8 and the Plenary Hall.
During the event, there were exhibitions of gems and jewelry, activities such as The Craft of Brilliance presenting the history and evolution of Thai gemstones, The Ones to Watch providing space for new designers, as well as a Networking Reception, gem verification and certification by GIT, and seminars for knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs and experts.
[Using Creativity to Create Value – Connecting the Thai Industry to the Global Market]
The participation of FTI reflects the role of the Creative Industry Development Institute in linking the manufacturing sector with creativity and design, which are crucial factors in adding value to Thai products and leading to international business opportunities.
FTI is ready to support the development of the gem and jewelry industry to move from “production base” to “high-value creative industry” by leveraging Thailand's strengths in skills, design, and creativity as a basis for brand creation, increasing product value, and expanding markets to an international level.
