เมื่อวันที่ 21 กันยายน 2569 นางพิมพ์ใจ ลี้อิสสระนุกูล ประธานสภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย (ส.อ.ท.) พร้อมคณะผู้บริหาร ส.อ.ท. มอบข้อเสนอต่อ (ร่าง) แผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ ฉบับที่ 14 พ.ศ. 2571–2575 ให้แก่นายดนุชา พิชยนันท์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานสภาพัฒนาการเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ (สศช.) ณ ส.อ.ท. เพื่อเชื่อมโยงการขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์ 5I ของ ส.อ.ท. เข้ากับทิศทางการพัฒนาประเทศตามกรอบแผนพัฒนาฯ ฉบับที่ 14 พร้อมสะท้อนมุมมองและข้อเสนอแนะจาก 48 กลุ่มอุตสาหกรรม และ 76 สภาอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัด ทั่วประเทศ ในการร่วมกำหนดแนวทางยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ
ข้อเสนอของ ส.อ.ท. มุ่งเน้นการปรับโครงสร้างพื้นฐานทางเศรษฐกิจและอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อยกระดับศักยภาพการแข่งขันของประเทศ ผ่านยุทธศาสตร์ 5I ประกอบด้วย
I1) Intelligent Industry
I2) Innovation & Creative Industry
I3) International Alliance & Network
I4) Industrial Infrastructure Reform และ
I5) Inclusive Sustainability
ข้อเสนอดังกล่าวจะเป็นกรอบสำคัญในการเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ผ่านแผนพัฒนาฯ ฉบับที่ 14 เพื่อร่วมขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่การเป็นฐานการผลิตที่สำคัญในภูมิภาค และสร้างเครื่องยนต์ขับเคลื่อน New Growth Engine ในอนาคต
ทั้งนี้ แผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจและสังคมแห่งชาติ ฉบับที่ 14 มีความสำคัญในฐานะแผนยุทธศาสตร์ระยะกลางที่มุ่งเน้น การเพิ่มผลิตภาพและความสามารถในการแข่งขัน ภายใต้แนวคิด “ซ่อมและเสริมรากฐาน สร้างอนาคต” โดยขับเคลื่อนผ่าน 5 เสาหลัก ได้แก่
1) การปรับโครงสร้างเศรษฐกิจสู่เศรษฐกิจฐานนวัตกรรม
2) การพัฒนาทุนมนุษย์
3) การยกระดับเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม
4) การปฏิรูปภาครัฐ และ
5) การพัฒนาทรัพยากรและสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างยั่งยืน เพื่อวางรากฐานเศรษฐกิจไทยให้สามารถเติบโตได้อย่างเข้มแข็งและรองรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงในอนาคต
On September 21, 2026, Mrs. Pimjai Leeissaranukul, President of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), along with the FTI executives, submitted proposals for the draft of the 14th National Economic and Social Development Plan (B.E. 2571–2575) to Mr. Donchada Pitchayanant, Secretary-General of the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) at FTI, to connect the FTI's 5I strategy with the national development direction in accordance with the framework of the 14th Development Plan while reflecting the views and suggestions from 48 industrial groups and 76 provincial industrial councils nationwide to collaboratively determine the direction to enhance the country's competitiveness.
The FTI's proposals focus on restructuring the economic and industrial infrastructure to enhance the country's competitive potential through the 5I strategy, which includes:
I1) Intelligent Industry
I2) Innovation & Creative Industry
I3) International Alliance & Network
I4) Industrial Infrastructure Reform and
I5) Inclusive Sustainability
This proposal will be an important framework for linking cooperation between the government, private sector, and various sectors through the 14th Development Plan to jointly drive Thailand toward becoming a major production base in the region and creating a New Growth Engine for the future.
The 14th National Economic and Social Development Plan is significant as a medium-term strategic plan focused on increasing productivity and competitiveness under the concept of “Repairing and Strengthening Foundations, Building the Future,” driven through five pillars, which include:
1) Restructuring the economy toward an innovation-based economy
2) Developing human capital
3) Upgrading technology and innovation
4) Government reform and
5) Sustainable resource and environmental development to establish a foundation for the Thai economy to grow robustly and to adapt to future changes.
