ฮ่องกงมีบทบาท เป็นศูนย์กลางธุรกิจและช่องทางเชื่อมโยงระหว่างตลาดต่างประเทศกับจีนแผ่นดินใหญ่ ทั้งด้านเครือข่ายธุรกิจ บริการทางการเงิน และบริการวิชาชีพ ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ประกอบการไทยที่ต้องการศึกษาตลาด แสวงหาโอกาสทางธุรกิจ และสร้างพันธมิตรเพื่อขยายกิจการ
สำหรับผู้ประกอบการ SMEs การเข้าสู่ตลาดจีนยังมีความท้าทาย ทั้งด้านข้อมูลตลาดที่แตกต่างกันในแต่ละพื้นที่ มาตรฐานสินค้า กฎระเบียบ และการเข้าถึงเครือข่ายคู่ค้า

On September 29, 2026, Mr. Veerachai Monsintorn, Vice Chairman of The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), Chairman of the SME Manufacturing Industry Institute, and Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute, along with Mr. Lee Pui, Vice Chairman of the Thai-Chinese Economic and Investment Institute, welcomed Ms. Sze-ling Cheung, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Bangkok (HKETO Bangkok), and her team on the occasion of her introductory visit following her appointment.
They exchanged views on promoting trade and investment cooperation between Thailand, Hong Kong, and China at the FTI.
Hong Kong plays a role as a business hub and a link between international markets and mainland China in terms of business networks, financial services, and professional services, which benefits Thai entrepreneurs seeking to explore markets, seek business opportunities, and build partnerships to expand their businesses.
For SMEs, entering the Chinese market poses challenges due to varying market information in different regions, product standards, regulations, and access to trading networks.
The FTI thus emphasizes connecting entrepreneurs with appropriate information and networks to enhance readiness and reduce limitations in expanding businesses into international markets.
The FTI aims to continue collaboration with HKETO Bangkok to connect business networks and increase opportunities for Thai entrepreneurs, especially SMEs, in expanding their markets into Hong Kong and China, while enhancing trade and investment relationships for the benefit of the Thai industrial sector.
